UK PREMIERE - Maxime Alexandre’s ace cinematography highlighted the work of his best friend Alexandre Aja (SWITCHBLADE ROMANCE, THE HILLS HAVE EYES and MIRRORS) and also graced THE CRAZIES remake. Now, as Max Sender, he has directed this unique horror chiller featuring stunning gore make-ups by Gianetto De Rossi of ZOMBIE FLESHEATERS fame. Christopher Roth is one of the world’s bestselling thriller writers. While his public wants more of the same, he wants to broaden his literature horizons, so with his wife Catherine he takes an extended vacation in Umbria, Italy, to get his creative juices flowing. However, the Roths’ arrival in the picturesque area coincides with yet another gruesome murder carried out by The Boar, an elusive serial killer holding the frightened locals in a grip of terror. Soon Roth finds it’s hard to resist that little thrill you feel right before you go beyond the imaginary and flirt with reality.
