BLOOD RUNS COLD
UK Premiere
Director Sonny Laguna. Starring Hanna Oldenburg, Patrick Saxe , Andreas Rylander , Elin Hugoson, Ralf Beck, Sweden 2011, 80 mins.
After a stressful first year as a breakthrough musician, Winona heads back to her hometown for a few weeks to wind down and find inspiration to write some new songs. Struggling to locate the right address through the harsh weather and winter darkness, she finally settles into the house her manager has rented for her. Except it’s not quite up to the standard she was expecting and unsettling noises seem to be coming from the attic. Deciding to head into town for a drink, Winona bumps into one of her old boyfriends and some of his friends. Breaking the ice they head back to Winona’s place for a private party. But something there is waiting for them, waiting for the right moment to strike. As they pair up to sleep, an old song on a radio starts to play…and so does the killing.
