FrightFest is delighted to welcome back one of the most distinctive voices in American genre filmmaking today – Ti West, director of THE ROOST and THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL. Yes, the indie king of the slow-burn horror flick returns to the fold with something akin to THE SHINING done slacker-style. He brings with him plentiful scares, unexpected doses of warm wit and weirdly effective character-based comedy. After 100 years of silver service, The Yankee Pedlar Inn is shutting its doors for good. The last remaining employees – Claire and Luke – are determined to finally uncover the truth of what many believe to be one of the USA’s most haunted hotels. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in and the pair of amateur ghostbusters begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to be mere footnotes in the establishment’s long and unexplained history.
