To mark the 35th anniversary of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, filmmaker Paul Davis has transformed his acclaimed documentary BEWARE THE MOON into a lavish hardback book chronicling the making of the classic horror like never before. Featuring interviews with over 35 cast and crew and 300 rare behind the scenes images, the book says director John Landis is, “The most complete and accurate account of the making of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON”. Limited to 1000 numbered hardback copies and signed by the author, Paul Davis, and special guests will be on hand to personalise copies during FrightFest.

Ever watched a horror movie and wondered how they came up with the idea and made it work? Acclaimed writer/director James Moran (SEVERANCE, TOWER BLOCK, ‘Turn Off Your Bloody Phone’ FrightFest shorts) will take you through his writing process, so you can find out! In this fast, fun, informative and highly interactive workshop, James will build an outline from scratch for a horror movie using local newspaper stories for inspiration, and taking suggestions and questions from the audience in a live brainstorming session. Ideas are everywhere, it’s what you do with them that counts...

He opened his own workshop with the goal of bringing that level of breathtaking experience to Britain’s independent genre scene delivering high quality work catering to each project’s unique budgetary and creative requirements. In this innovative workshop Dan will discuss his career while demonstrating simple prosthetic transfers, fielding questions from the audience about achieving those key special effects budding filmmakers might want to incorporate into their own projects.
