THE NEWS - Brought to you by FrightFest gore newshound Paul McEvoy, who keeps you up to date on everything you need to know and a few things you probably don't, in the world of fantasy and horror.

UP THE CREEK WITH SCHUMACHER

A spanking new trailer has just emerged online for a fright flick that me and Alan caught last year in Cannes.

It’s called CREEK and is a great looking horror film that deals with some nasty Nazi occult experiments. It stars Dominic Purcell and Michael Fassbender.

A UK theatrical release is planned with Entertainment distributors but with no date set as yet.

NEXT FROM WEST

Debuting at the Tribecca Film Festival is the 80’s retro horror HOUSE OF THE DEVIL from Ti West – director of TRIGGER MAN, THE ROOST and the forthcoming CABIN FEVER 2.

The poster and new trailer have just gone online for this. Click here

TRICK R TREAT FINALLY COMING

It looks as though the long and oft delayed TRICK R TREAT might finally be seeing the light of day.

Everyone who has seen this raves about it – including Mr’s Jones, Lynch and Green – check out the new trailer here.

NEW LITTLE SHOPPE

The loooong running Hammer Film magazine LITTLE SHOPPE OF HORRORS has just released a new issue – number 22.

Brilliantly written and illustrated the magazine is a delight for all fans of the great company.
