TAKE A TRIP TO CHERRY TREE LANE

It has just been announced that the talented director of LONDON TO BRIGHTON and THE COTTAGE Paul Andrew Williams is gearing up to start filming new horror/thriller CHERRY TREE LANE. This will be a Steel Mill Pictures production and will be released by Metrodome Pictures in the UK. The shoot will commence in north London on July 16th.

Here’s Paul to give you some background on the project..

CHERRY TREE LANE, for me, is a film that needs to be looked at on many levels. On the surface we are talking about an extremely horrific event that takes place, in real time, to an innocent family. It is tense, harrowing and even disturbing at times and how these elements are handled, dramatically and cinematically will determine the final style of the film. It is closer in style to London to Brighton creatively, but the social issues it brings to the fore and the currency of the subject matter will mean it has broad cinematic appeal.”

GO UNDER THE MOUNTAIN WITH SAM NEILL

The spanking new trailer for Jonathan (BLACK SHEEP) King’s UNDER THE MOUNTAIN has just surfaced. Based on the best selling New Zealand book of the same name. It is a dark fantasy that me and Ian really enjoyed when we caught the film in Cannes. It’s due out in the UK late 2009/early 2010.
