PRIDE AND PREDATOR

Pleased to report that one of last years FrightFest short film showcase directors is about to start production on PRIDE AND PREDATOR.

William Clark, director of THE AMAZING TROUSERS will film for Elton John’s production company Rocket Pictures. Will says “It felt like a fresh and funny way to blow apart the done to death Jane Austen genre by literally dumping this alien into the middle of a costume drama where he stalks and slashes to horrific effect.”

MR GREEN GETS FROZEN

One of our FrightFest patron saints Adam Green starts filming today on his new horror project FROZEN. As Glasgow festers know from his filmed introduction to his GRACE production he is up a mountain in extreme weather conditions.

The film stars Kevin Zegers, Shawn Ashmore and Emma Bell who play three hapless friends who get stuck on a chair lift at a closed ski resort. We wish Adam well on the project.

OUTLANDER POSTER

Brand new international poster for the SF/Fantasy/Horror film OUTLANDER which we UK premiered on Friday. The film is set for UK release through Momentum in April.

FANGORIA 282

The next issue of Fangoria features a very Terminator-esqe cover in the shape of new slasher flick LAID TO REST.

QUARANTINE

The REC remake will be released from QUARANTINE on shiny DVD and BR formats on the 9th of March.
