THE NEWS - Brought to you by FrightFest gore newshound Paul McEvoy, who keeps you up to date on everything you need to know and a few things you probably don't, in the world of fantasy and horror.

DOGHOUSE

I've just had word that Jake West's much anticipated comic book horror opus DOGHOUSE is now slated for UK theatrical release in May through Sony Pictures.

Featuring Danny (SEVERANCE) Dyer, Noel (DOCTOR WHO) Clark and the ever fabulous Emily Booth, this looks to be riotous fun. Long trailer

TRAILER PARK OF TERROR

One of last years FrightFest faves is making its way to UK dvd on the 26th January through Spirit Entertainment. As regulars found out last year this is a good old fashioned EC comics inspired slice of horror mayhem and well worth checking out.

I SELL THE DEAD

It has just been announced that Glasgow fest inclusion I SELL THE DEAD has just picked up two awards at the US Slamdance festival.

The honours went to Richard Lopez for best director of photography and producer/actor Larry Fessenden scored a special jury mention for his performance. UK viewers will be able to see what the fuss is about next month. Trailer
