Daybreakers

THE NEWS - Brought to you by FrightFest gore newshound Paul McEvoy, who keeps you up to date on everything you need to know and a few things you probably don't, in the world of fantasy and horror.

NEW FROM THE UNDEAD FOLKS

Those fine lads from down under the Spierig brothers who gave us the micro budgeted UNDEAD a few years back are about to unleash their new film DAYBREAKERS.

The film is opening in theatres January 8th 2010 in the US with a UK release date through Lions Gate still to be confirmed.

Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill, Willem Dafoe and Claudia Karvan star. DAYBREAKERS is set in 2017 and deals with a plague that has turned most humans into vampires.

Sounds great – the poster and the trailer has just been released.

FAB099MORE FROM THE FAB FAB PRESS

Harvey Fenton continues his long running line of essential genre publications with the just released CINEMA SEWER VOLUME TWO. This is a mind melting collection culled from the pages of the ongoing Cinema Sewer magazine edited by Robin Bougie– with a host of extra materials. The content is very much of an adults only nature (!) with articles, reviews and interviews covering a host of subjects including Johnny Wadd, David Hess and post apocalyptic movies. Truly unmissable for the open minded! Available now for £11.99
