Here’s a new project that is in pre production from David Slade the director of 30 DAYS OF NIGHT and HARD CANDY. The synopsis is as follows..

On the edge of the Antartic Circle, in the years after World War I, a steam ship approaches a desolate island far from all shipping lanes. On board is a young man, on his way to assume the lonely post of weather observer, to live in solitude for a year at the end of the world. But on shore he finds no trace of the man whom he has been sent to replace, just a deranged castaway who has witnessed a horror he refuses to name. The rest is forest, a deserted cabin, rocks, silence, and the surrounding sea. And then night begins to fall...Albert Sánchez Piñol's Cold Skin is one of the most unsettling works of contemporary Spanish fiction, a tour de force of dark resonance and sexual anxiety.

MR LEE RETURNS TO HAMMER!

The next project from the newly re-booted Hammer Films outfit is set to be THE RESIDENT – which was previously entitled INVASION OF PRIVACY. The film is set to star Hilary Swank and Jeffrey Dean Martin – in some exciting news it looks as though that venerable Hammer star Christopher Lee will be returning to the fold to portray a character called August.

FANGORIA’S 30th ANNIVERSARY

Celebrating their 30th anniversary in style and sporting a specially created Clive Barker cover Fangoria’s issue 284 should be hitting newsstands shortly.
