SPECIAL CHARITY SCREENING EVENT
Those fine folks over at IGN.com have given us the heads up about a fantastic event they have planned.
Have you heard about the Raiders of the Lost Ark Adaptation we are hosting? It’s the UK premiere of the shot-for-shot remake that three American teens made between 1982 and 1989. It’s become something of a cult hit in the States, with the film screening all over, Vanity Fair running a feature on it, and Spielberg and Lucas both writing to the boys to express their admiration for their efforts.
It’s never screened in the UK however, so we are putting on a charity premiere in Leicester Square on April 28. We are flying the makers over, and will be organising Indy-themed food and drink in the foyer, have props from the original on display, and giving away lots of Indy goodies. And today I think I just confirmed the attendance of the original Belloq!
More details can be found here Yep, sounds like a great event – and we’ll all be there!
Because lightsabers are hot and we had a day to kill last summer.
What do you do when you have a few hours to spare? Go the the cinema, go to the pub or watch a DVD. Well, if you're Adam Green and you have a day to kill, you pop out a new short film. Have a look see here.
28 DAYS LATER – THE COMIC
Coming soon from Fox Atomic Comics and Boom! Studios is a 28 DAYS LATER comic. This will initially feature a story set between the 28 DAYS LATER and 28 WEEKS LATER films.
