ISSUE 9 OUT NOW

Happy New Year and welcome to the latest issue of FRIGHTFEST. We are well into our second year of publishing and have great plans for the magazine in the coming year. The iPad version of the magazine is now fully operational, at last, and will now appear in your Newsstand App. Your iPad will now also let you know when a new issue or magazine update is ready to download. If you haven’t already, why don’t you download your FREE App now.

So, what delights do we have for you in this issue? Jay Slater provides the first of a two-part article looking at the Women in Prison (WIP) genre, so get ready to learn about “Chicks in Chains”! Alan Jones runs you through the 11 film lineup for February’s FrightFest Glasgow, Dave Brown previews one of its highlights, CRAWL, while Nina Romain looks at horror by the seaside at the Bram Stoker Film Festival. Alan Jones, who is working overtime contributing to this issue, talks to Frederico Zampaglione, who’s flying into Glasgow to world premiere a clip from his new film TULPA.

Add to this all the usual suspects of DVDs and games reviews, horror interviews and features, and we have issue nine of FRIGHTFEST.
