Re: Thoughts on FrightFest @ Vue so far..
Having been to Frightfest since its residency at the PCC, I had no particular attachment to the Empire, so didn't mind the move. Overall, I thought things ran incredibly smoothly and the split into three screens didn't disrupt things as much as I thought they might. Yeah, it's not as great as everyo...

As I heard it, that's exactly what happened.DJBenz wrote: Same producers as last year's Banshee Chapter, so there's your link. I can only imagine no-one on the FF team saw the film in advance and took it on the word of the producers that "Yeah, it's as good as Banshee Chapter, just stick it on".

Nordland 1 & 2 are worth picking up. Blood On Ice is alright, it was recorded in 1989 just after Blood Fire and Death, but he didn't want to release it for some reason.. The others are pish (although I do keep revisiting Destroyer of Worlds for some reason).

Re: Where are you sitting?
Hell No! Of course it's illegal to jam peoples phones, quite rightly so, freedom of communication is as important as freedom of speech, and for some people mobiles are still important. I certainly wouldn't respond by embraceing yet more prohibition in an already over regulated environment. Standard...

My wife and I have seats P24 and P25. Seems a few on here are just in front or behind us. If not I'll get the lovely emmybooth to lay a Harris trap for me, mwu hahahaha To save you from having to go court, I'll mention that Danielle Harris has had serious stalker issues before (someone obsessed with...

Re: Dr. Frights Halloween Horror Nights. New Event For 2010!
There are a few of these popping up now. Thorpe Park does their very best to emulate the American theme parks in October, and usually has 4-5 horror mazes open. There is also a very good independent set up down near Gatwick airport that also has 4-5 mazes, which I'd argue are of much better quality ...

Re: The Horror Movie Genre is Dead!!
Is CENTURION's distribution that bad? Given the director and cast, I'd say yes, it is! Pretty sure its the poorest for any of his four films. I don't think its too much of a surprise though given that his last film was given a pretty big budget and wide distribution, but absolutely tanked at the bo...

Can i just ask, if you do the sleepy queue and get your w/e ticket, is there a booking fee on top? Also what time is recommended to get to the queue that morning? :) As far as I remember, you just pay the flat fee for the ticket if you pay in person. Starting times for the sleepy queue vary dramati...

I think its depends upon the site you use to book it. Some offer a 25% discount, others don't.Satans Puppy wrote:For some reason the prices have dropped for some people... grrrrrrr

That's more like it :) Can't make a booking until the weekend though (hope there's rooms left) Need to check I can get a few days off work too. Can someone please confirm which day and approx time the films kick off...last film ends on ...

Re: The Rough Guide to FrightFest
I just booked a HHH twin yesterday for 4 nights (thurs-sun) and it came to £176, which my maths tells me is £44 a night. It's cheaper than usual, as they're currently offering 25% off for the end of August. The deposit has gone up slightly, I remember in the past it was only about £10, this time it ...
