Re: Centurion

actually puppy i had a whole passage typed lamenting the dialogue - particularly the "arsehole of the world" bit. However that might have kicked me off on the whole "sorry to piss on your chips" bit in doomsday. urgh

Doghouse scenes

Going to have to express a disappointment here. The only things i felt would benefit from being put back into the film would be the longer Sword lady fight and the conspiracy theory scene. The opening would be good to reinsert but honestly it was the traditional missable prologue many movies start w...

Centurion

Nice to see Axelle Carolyn getting some long overdue onstage presence at FF. Strange 3D style opening credits. Handsome looking clip promising quite a ride. If its one thing Marshall can deliver is a strong concept - despite how an individual might perceive the end resulting film. Such a shame there...

Black Death preview

Good little clip that. Nice of Chris Smith to come all that way to introduce it and a shame we cant have built a day around it. Amusing to see Andy Nyman in that kind of role and nice to see a well cut together action scene with some tasty carnage. The two or three chops to cut off a head being my f...

Re: what dvds are we buying?

Just picked up the apparently deleted Bronx Warriors Trilogy tin for £19.99 in HMV bond street. Behind it was one more tin of it @ £30. Not seen any of them btw.

Currently trying to behave considering all that play current have in their £5 promotion.

Re: FIGHT FEST

"Rather than swap seats with his girl though after the first film to get between the trouble he decided to lay into the bloke with her in the middle... gentleman!" Not true when it came to the actual fight. The girl was sat to the fighters right and the guy he started punching was on his ...

Re: FangoNia

... anyway looks like the next issue at least is going to be published as the front cover has been released. kind of a remake special. incidently the two part stephen king article where he waxes on about whats scary is notably awful. The guy seems to have gone insane, his comments regarding the rema...

SFX weekender

Having fallen out of love with SFX a good many years ago I had no idea such an event was going on.

What was Frightfest's presence there like? Any tidbits?

How come this was kept off the main website and the forum?

Re: FangoNia

Actually the web does seem full of info that can neither confirm or deny the fangoria problems. Alan Jones did Tweet that it looks like its over for them, lamenting that none of the contributors for the last issue seem to have been paid. However one deluded Gorezone fan posted this especially deliri...

http://www.horrorbid.com/blog/blog1.php/2010/02/02/the-death-of-fangoria . Interesting comments thread too. End of an era. Worrying times for print media. If starlog and Fango cant keep going. I didnt care much for the Fango website. Too much clutter on horrorwebsites in general imho so i dont both...
