Favourite Saw sequel
So supposedly Saw 7 is the last one. (We'll see). Got me wondering to which of the sequels people thought was the bestest. Vote now! ps I didn't bother to make this a "favourite Saw film" poll as I'm pretty sure the first one would run away with it. If the sequel you vote for also happens ...

Re: Fright Night remake
As Fright Night is one of my favourite films ever (in fact my 2nd favourite horror after The Evil Dead) I had fully intended to skip this remake. But I must admit the casting of David Tennat has me interested. I quite like the sound of the changes being made to the Peter Vincent character. 25 years ...

Re: Films everyone loves... except you!
[quote="rawsharkNo remakes = No Carpenter's The Thing, No Cronenberg's The Fly, and add that to Dawn of the Dead and The Crazies in the last century, then occasionally remakes can be good things..[/quote] You're right with that. But what I think makes The Thing and The Fly so well received as r...

Re: Black Death Screening
I thought it was really good too. Not what I was expecting, I thought it was going to be a big battle film but it wasn't really. Sort of a medieval Wicker Man. Like yer man up on stage said, he only had about three lines but his character still stood out. Often in these films where all the men have ...

Re: TV Eye
New series of True Blood this week. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. The first series started off a bit crap I thought but by the end was brilliant. Strangely I find all the stuff directly relating to vampires a bit rubbish. It was better when it was Sookie and her friends and family...

I watched this yesterday and really liked it. Sounds like I was right to leave the screen whenever I went to a film and the trailer to this came on. Everything that happened in the film was a surprise to me. My favourite bit was actually when the psychic (who looked like George W to me) turned up fo...

fuck me , i must be in the minority Apparently not, judging by the replies on this thread. I'm quite surprised at the level of anti-Saw feeling there is :( The logical place to have ended the series would have been after part 3 (if there had to be sequels at all). But seeing as they decided to cont...

Happy Saw Day
Ok, so today is actually Saw Eve but I'm not in work tomorrow so thought I'd take this chance to wish you all a happy Saw Day tomorrow. And why am I not in work? No, Saw Day hasn't become a national holiday, I've booked it as annual leave and I will be getting up early and watching all my Saw DVDs. ...
