Re: Films For Glasgow 2017
Looking forward to Glasgow, would love the new Dick Maas film, Prey to be premiered there. Killer Lion in Amsterdam. Trailer looks like great, and Frightfest premiered his last film "Saint".

Night-Fare Julien Seri
Anybody know if my favourite film of Frightfest 2015 is getting a UK release, anytime soon.
I see its emerged on DVD in France, but without UK Subtitles.
Cheers

Re: Quality of films this year
I would be sad if Frightfest changed the format. It is great to have a programme organised for you. Some fans just stay in the main screen, I for one have not got the time to research every film before attending. Part of the fun is the unique menu of fear that the guys put on. I had a brief perusual...

Re: Best and Worst Films of 2016
Easily, the best frightfest in some time.... Top 10 1.Train To Busan (Yep, I cried, but what a bloody brilliant Classic) 2.Pet (Thought this would be a regulation abduction thriller, but loved its plot twists, and Dominic M was really superb in this) 3.Population Zero (Interesting, Bloody great acti...

Re: Train to Busan
A Tremendous end to the festival. Best Zombie film since Romero's Dawn Of The Dead, and also one of the most emotional films I have seen in a long long, time. The pacing was just outstanding, with characters you really care about. 10/10

Re: Population Zero
I really liked this one. Great Thriller, had me really absorbed. Terrific moc-doc with great acting. Similar to the superior Lake Mungo, (one of my fave horrors) in terms of style. Being a proud lefty, I loved the political underpinnings.

Top 3 My Palme De Gore!! 1. Nightfare Just a Brilliant Brilliant Thriller, It doesnt all add up, but a relentless brilliant experience. 2.Bait F**king Awesome. A brilliant brit thriller, up there with Kill List, Straw Dogs, Dead Man Shoes. 3.We Are Still Here Terrific Horror, slow build up, but remi...

Re: The Diabolical
I really liked this one. My 4th fave of the festival after 1.Nightfare 2. Bait 3.Howl.
Always liked "transporter" horror ever since the malfunction in Star Trek The Motion Picture, and of course The Fly.
One of the scarier horrors as well of the weekend as well

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015
The main reason I Sleepy-Q is to get an aisle seat. Although i'm not registered disabled, there is no way I can do five days in any thing other than an aisle seat due to cramping, being a tall chap. If it does go online only which seems to be what is being said, will there be a way of knowing what t...

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary
Its a tough one, but I do think the sleepy q should be preserved, not that I particularly enjoy queing thru the night, but it remains the fairest way of getting a ticket, because of the online chaos, frightfest always causes, can you imagine the horror of sitting online all-day and not getting a tic...

Is Frightfest Twitter correct in that the Halloween London Event is now an All-Nighter again, after it was previously announced as a day event?

Re: The House at the End of Time
I stayed in the main screen, except for Life After Beth and Faults. Just caught up with this, (via buying it from Spain via Amazon, where its already on DVD,) after several people I spoke to during Frightfest , said this was the best of the festival. Have to agree with them, and others posting, a Bl...
Re: Home
This was a big surprise, a proper satanic horror. Good jump scares, and a big shock halfway through. Nicely directed, with some good homages to other horrors such as Don't Look Now. Really Good.
