Re: Breeder
Not everyone's going to be able to deal with the brutality, but for those who can there's a serious plot, some fantastic acting and some hardcore horror moments.

Really, really liked this one, from the cheesy badges to the lovely moment on the staircase
Super fun.

Re: Held
Pretty solid effort. Loved the look, setting and performances. Plot was recycled from...
... And the exposition scene was far too long and expository. Still, more good than bad.

That does sound easier, yes. I mean, if you want easy... Some of us revel in the obscure and complicated pointless machinations of life

Re: How to gift Digital ticket
I believe I'm right in saying it's possible, because the site allows you to purchase multiple tickets and assign them, but I haven't done it myself. In the Eventive site it has an article that explains how it's done: https://help.eventive.org/en/articles/912048-allow-passholders-to-transfer-passes W...

Re: FrightFest October 2020
Every FrightFest (or more accurately every one I attend) I do a simple web-page view that makes it easy to see the key information about the films on offer in a format that's easy on things like mobile phones. The one for October is up now and in case others find it helpful it's here: http://frightf...

Re: FrightFest October 2020
Assuming it's the same as last time... I chose my screenings during the festival, only picking the first day's choices before it all kicked off. Last time the short film programmes were available throughout the festival and you could watch them whenever suited you, but they needed to be the last thi...

Re: FrightFest October 2020
I think we could all see this coming, there was a lot of heavy foreshadowing at the beginning of the second act... The August virtual was pretty successful for me so I'll be enthusiastically signing on for this one as well. Thanks for keeping us informed and, fingers crossed, I'll get to see everyon...

Thanks for the update, Ian, I think we're all trying to keep up with a fast-changing world right now. I truly sympathise.

Re: FrightFest October 2020
Cheers for the update. I think we all understand how tricky this year is going to be, so however you manage to do it I'll certainly try to be there.

Blinder?
Or is it just the bit they forgot to include at the end of the film. That could be the beginning of a new trend. Release the first half of a movie and then sell the second half of it as a separate release.

Thanks for the Nightmares!
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed FrightFest. I get how you managed to put films on my TV but I had no idea that the Crew and the Festers would all manage to fit (virtually) in my tiny house thanks to everyone's sheer enthusiasm. It was different, for sure, but it still felt like the real thin...

The Swerve
Devastating and gripping, as she walks through the screenplay with Shakespearian inevitability towards that infinite doom. Stunning performances, script, camera work. Deeply emotional and horrifying.

Re: AV The Hunt
Absolutely terrific chase and revenge thriller with interesting context and location. Gripping throughout and a stern message to certain socially conservative elements about the meaning of the word 'honour'.
8/10 - One of my favourites of the festival.
