Re: Tickets bought - share later - how to share?

I know it's going to be hard to believe but that's as stress-free as it gets...

I remember an eight hour battle that ended in bad, bad things.

Re: Tickets bought - share later - how to share?

Go to 'My Account' and the tickets will be there. You can manage them individually.

Re: Tickets bought - share later - how to share?

Yup, two tickets, barely even had time to take my tranquilisers and really settle in for my first palpitation and it was over. Didn't feel a thing :) Smooth this time, thanks. I'm also assigning tosomeone else. I think you log in to the ticketing site, then select a ticket and share it with another ...

Re: To Trailer or not?

I always try to know as little as possible before walking in, but that applies only to the main screens. I will do some trailerage for a handful of Disco films that look the best to me, then decide if I'm prepared to miss the main screen offering at the same time. Having seen the trailers after the ...

Re: Issue with booking - please help

I've been in the horrible position of being unable to get tickets in the past, and the awful position of having them but seeing others have trouble. I'm really pleased you managed to sort it out, see you in August :)

Re: Accommodation

Small rooms aren't something I worry about for Frightfest. I need a bed, a shower and enough floor to drop my shoes on before passing out. I've gone with the Strand Palace as usual, partly because I'm there so often they do me a bit of a deal.

Re: Issue with booking - please help

My advice is to do what you've already done. Put the message here and maybe on the Facebook page as well. One of the FF organisers is generally monitoring these places (frequently Ian) and he'll be able to give you advice.

Re: Booked

Yup, 6 minutes. Well done the team, that was as seamless as a very seamless thing. Er, pretty much anything except a cricket ball. :)

Re: Stress free ticketing for a change

Of course I'd never have even heard of it without Frightfest. It's the only time of the year I let other people pick my movies for me. Not all of them have been great, but there are so many I'd have missed without the festival.

Re: Top 10 Films 2016

Ten? You want me to name ten? The Woods, Broken and Train to Busan all seem very interesting. I'm looking forward to Pet, because I enjoy a bit of psychology in my horror and there are plenty of others that appeal but I've now entered my 'try to forget the details and stay away from spoilers for two...

Re: Stress free ticketing for a change

I just had a couple of gazumpings before I got through to pay. No real complaints though, the whole process probably took five minutes, it just seemed like my heart was pounding for much much longer. For the old timers I'd say it was actually 'Three Minutes of Torture', but felt like 'Casshern' :)

Re: Accommodation

Cheers :)

Anyway I'm sure it'll be a decent enough crash-pad. Let's face it I only need somewhere to park my slumbering corpse. During Fightfest I actually 'live' at the cinema, I merely 'sleep' at the hotel...

Re: Accommodation

I'm at the Hilton as well. Much cheaper than the IBIS and only a couple of hundred yards from the cinema (useful for cripples like me).

A late bar sounds great, though maybe they don't mean the same by 'late' as a typical Fester does...
