in regards to r1 recommendations you should get "Vulgar". i don't think it has gotten a release over here.. tis a film produced by kevin smith by his view askew company about said company's logo. Very dark but freaking hillarious.

while queuing at the checkout in Morrison's I noticed prime gold awesome in the dvd bin. King Kong Escapes. King Kong fighting Mecha King Kong with a lazer on his head. this can only be wonderful.

I thought the move was alright.. no my usual cup of horror tea but it did what it did competantly and very well considering the budget. my only gripe is kind of a pedantic one.. and that was the over use of punctuation in the subtitles. my only complaint with this film would be black and whiote animation plus white subtitles ='s occassionally really freakin hard to read. It always irks me when it happens in films.. the worst being the tears of the black tiger where the subtitles disappear for a good 5 minutes during a beach scene.
