Re: III

I liked the look of this film a lot, but I get the feeling that the positives about this movie rest on the visual appearance more than the strength of the plot. The acting was average at best. I was enjoying it at the beginning, but then it just lost its way and nothing much seemed to happen. I lost...

Re: Demonic

My God this was one of the most tedious films I have ever watched in my life :- Talk about boring. Im so glad I watched it online for free and didn't buy a ticket for £13.25. I couldn't come to FF on that day so watched it at home. Thank f**k I did because I would have been majorly pissed off otherw...

Re: Food Feedback

Great suggestions above. Just to warn people. We made the dreadful mistake of going to the Lido. They brought my friend the wrong dish then expected her to pay for it even though she told them it was wrong and hadn't touched it. The mushrooms looked like creatures from another planet - all slimey. I...

Re: Jeruzalem

I absolutely loved this. Normally wobbly cameras drive me insane, but the way this was done didn't bother me at all. I thought the glasses idea was good. I was well into this from start to finish so I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the acting was good and there were some really creepy moments. My ...

Re: Food Feedback

There is a wee market stall outside a Co-Op on Berwick Street which is about 5-7min from the Vue. I'm rather fond of their falafel. Dunno if its what your looking for exactly but it might be an ideal lunch stop. There is also a Pret a Manger either side of the Vue If we ditch the Sagar Indian Veggi...

Re: Food Feedback

I just use Tripadvisor when I go anwhere (although for burger. mexican and beer suggestions as opposed to vegetarian food!) and not been disappointed. Here's there vege list, which can be sorted by area: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g186338-c40-London_England.html Thanks for the list. :...

Retro Suggestions for future FFESTS     Peter Lorre - It would be amazing to see some of his movies on the big screen. These would be my choices in order of preference: MAD LOVE / THE FACE BEHIND THE MASK / THE BEAST WITH 5 FINGERS / STRANGER ON THE THIRD FLOOR    ...

Re: Food Feedback

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone knows of any good veggie places or restaurants catering to both meat eaters (for my friends) and veggies placed near Leicester Square. I am a West Londoner so God only knows why I haven't found a place yet, but I haven't. Last time I was at Fright Fest I was an...

Re: Frightfest 2015

Interesting idea ... I'd probably go for a Discovery screen weekend pass if there was also the option to get some tickets for main screen films, in the same way main screen pass holders get tickets for disco films. Not sure how it would work with the two different Discovery screens but a good idea ...

Re: What films do you want for FrightFest 2014?

Zombie Flesh Eaters at Glasgow, but not London........ :( One of my favourite video nasty VHS memories of all time. Not fair. I would love to see 1/2 classics like this next year on the main screen e.g. MAGIC THE HUNGER ROSEMARY'S BABY MAD LOVE (Peter Lorrie) THE FACE BEHIND THE MASK (Peter Lorre) ac...

Re: Conspiracy

Im not going to apologise for having an opinion. If you feel the statements are bold ... so what? Are bold statements banned now? Not at all, the problem - as I see it - is you have taken offense at being asked to clarify them. My first post is greeted with me "attacking" you. Morrelex's ...

Re: Conspiracy

:D Sure, just remember no-one is deliberately "attacking" or "getting personal" with you, but you have made some pretty bold statements - not least that director Christopher MacBride is OK with pedophiles :| - so playing the victim too soon isn't going to help you any. "Just...

The over use of canned laughter totally spoils it for me. If they were less enthusiastic with it, I think it would be much better.

Looks like a good idea though.
