Re: A few Glasgow thoughts
I'm three years into Frightfest and this is the first time I actually got a chance to meet and speak to folk, which is quite a shame really. But I had a blast this year, although think me bright idea to wear the bright purple home designed Frightfest hoodie wasn't one of me best- ended up mortified ...

I don't think that she wet herself... Think that was a representation of her orgasm.kimblebee wrote:Can anyone clear this up for me - what was the bit with the bath all about? are we to believe that the woman wet herself?.... enough to fill a bath???!!

Re: HARPOON: REYKJAVIK WHALE WATCHING MASSACRE
Best last film I have ever seen at FF. Great fun but what was the sad ending all about?? made me laugh so much tho- and that poor girl, could anything else have happened to her?! I loved the 'Oh So Quiet' moment on so many levels. I enjoyed it and would def watch it again.

Re: A LIZARD IN A WOMAN'S SKIN
I loved this film- cringe worthy and funny for all the wrong reasons... the dialogue was some of the cheesiest lines I have ever heard delivered- the facial expressions, priceless and the use of the wind machine, class. haha. Some really nice close up shots though and the music was fantastic. I woul...
Re: FROZEN
I loved this film. One of the best of the weekend. Great shooting, impressive isolated scenery and energy, nerve-wrenching tension and a dude that jumps 100 feet with his legs pointed straight at the ground :) made me cringe with awe and disgust :D Thats the way i like me horror- straight up tension...

Re: STAG NIGHT
Not much to say about this one.. apart from recognising 'Shannon' from footballers Wives and the Irish Dude from SATC.. i'm at a loss. The fight/struggle/murder sequences were quite weird- had an action film feel to them, and what was with the over-usage of the slow mo?? yes its a friggin chicken- w...

Re: 2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS
Loved Tim Sullivan, man he is a funny dude- he should be in front of the camera rather than behind it. His intros for both Maniacs and Frozen were funny as. Sadly though, as much as I love 2001 Maniacs (and I really do! Esp Granny singing the dosey doe underneath a make shift liberty bell- haha) the...
Re: [REC.2]
I was a little disappinted with this movie-I loved the first one so so much and it scared the hell outta me, but with this one is seemed a little more silly and camped up for laughs. I thought that they would have came up with some new and original material for the sequel but somehow the didn't. I d...
Re: AMER
I thought this film was beautifully constructed. From the writing (or lack of) to the shots- to the edits. I couldn't take my eyes of the screen, it was almost hypnotic. I really enjoyed it, and loved the slow pace narrative ending with a dramatic climax. At times though I found the narrative a litt...
Re: SPLICE
Probably one of my personal favourites of this years fest, It was funny, well written and bascically done everything it said on the tin. I loved it! In saying that, I have no intelligent or critical comments to make, it is one of those films that is almost completely devoid of discussion theories or...
