Same here, however that was probably a one-off.LeighM wrote:I'm willing to give Hellions ago purely on the good faith the director has stored up with me from Pontypool.

Re: Discovery tickets sold out for pass holders but single tickets still available
I think it makes sense to have a proportion of tickets available for individual buyers in every screen - this allows people who want to watch one or two films a way to access the festival. Every year there are a few films that end up being in a screen with a mismatched capacity - either too big or t...

Re: Discovery screen tickets
It's probably quicker to get to the PCC than one of the upper floors of the VUE - it's about 30 secs around the corner.

Re: Question about tickets purchased
Personally I'd ditch the disco screens. It's not like a music festival where they have different types of bands playing at different times - ie main stage metal, second stage dance or whatever- they're all horror films. You can do that by just not going to the Discovery screens. Doesn't effect anyb...

Re: Discovery screen tickets
This system worked really well. FYI Bite is full - got one ticket, but by the time I logged on with another pass all of the seats had been taken. Should be a fun screening. I forgot to book up a Future Shock 2000AD seat for one of my party's passes. i can't be bothered to wait for another hour so I'...

I'm 100% certain it won't.jonbly wrote:I'm 99.999% positive that your main screen seat will be sold on (if there's demand).maxmum wrote:What's the score if I book another screen and the alternative movie is rubbish? Can I go back to my main screen seat or is it sold on?

Re: Tube Strike Planned
Frightfest: I came for the films, but I stayed for the transport moans and 80s politics. Plenty of cheapo £60ish lodgings at LSE High Holborn Halls as of last week for anyone who would prefer to stay nearby rather than face the trials of the 'Horror Express!'

Re: Weekend passes - film clash query
Some of the films will be available on Blu/DVD within a few months (check 'coming soon' on Amazon), or probably earlier on import. Others, for better or worse, never see the light of day again - so it's best to catch them while you can if you're curious! This could be the deal breaker.

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015
Be brave - If you are stuck on circle hell for 20 secs+, make sure you press the 'cancel' button by the circle before clicking your browser's back button. You may then have to press back through more than one 'server error' page. Then, when you see the seating again, make sure you press the 'refresh...

I must say that I'm thoroughly enjoying this 'secret-cinema' style immersive horror online queueing experience. It's like I'm really there in the hell of it all!
