Re: Bad Behaviour
some people do need to sort out there behaviour, the back of my chair was constantly kicked and prodded!. The other side of this is that the guy sat in front of me grumbled every time someone nudged his seat back. Obviously I totally understand getting annoyed during a film if people kick the back ...

Re: Breaks
I can't see a reduction in breaks between films working. Q&As, etc, often over run and special guests arrive late meaning the start of the film gets delayed. If you shrunk the allotted break between films it'd result in the next film starting late too. Or we'd lose out on some special guests bec...

Re: Bad Behaviour
I was only there for a day this year. On Sat night I went down to the front to get a T-shirt and got elbowed in the head (being a wheelchair user I'm on a lower level the most people, on someone standing the elbow would've hit the ribs. Quite glad I wasn't standing as one of my ribs is currently bro...

Thanking you. Sorted with tapatalk now. At £1.99 it's the most expensive app I've ever bought though!

On a sort-of related note: Wasn't there an iPhone friendly version of the forum? (Didn't have an iPhone last year.) I promise to only look between films...

Yes! Agree completely.halloweengirl wrote:I thought it was beautiful little film. [...] I don't think it was a horror or even a sci-fi and didn't really fit in the festival.
Re: 13 Hrs
I kept getting distracted by the fact that the not very manly brother looks like my friend Jenny.

Re: I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE
As someone has already mentioned, the rape scene seems much shorter in this. But the pre-rape humiliation seems more drawn out (it's several years since I last saw the original so I may have remembered wrong). There are many in the film industry who will vociferously defend the offensive procedure o...

Re: Dream Home
Sadly I got in the habit of leaving when the film that ended around 11pm finished. It wasn't until I got home and took a look at the programme trying to work out what time to come back the next day I saw I was missing this at that very moment and thought "shit, I meant to stay for that."

Re: We Are What We Are
I enjoyed this though I can't put my finger on why. In an environment like FF where you're watching loads of films in a short space of time and you're incredibly sleep deprived I find it harder to follow the slower films. But for some reason this hooked me.

Re: Damned By Dawn
It seems most people didn't like the crap CGI. But I actually did. It was incredibly cheesy which is exactly my cup of tea.
The absence of plot however had me thinking about walking out.

Re: Bedevilled
I wasn't really in the right headspace for this at FF. Seeing so many films in such a short space of time while so tired I find it hard to follow the slow burners and prefer the fast and funny slashers.

Re: Last Exorcism
So I'm the only one that liked the 'open to interpretation' ending?
I didn't expect to, but I actually really enjoyed this. After a couple of minutes I even forgot that Patrick Fabian was Veronica Mars's criminology professor (which is usually all I can think when I see him on TV).

Re: F
I agree with jonbly about the length of the intro. But I kinda felt that the intro never really ended. I felt like I spent the whole film waiting for it to really get going. It wasn't splattery enough to be a splatter film. It wasn't suspense-filled enough to be a suspense film. I felt it sat some p...
