Re: Best and Worst Films of 2016
1. Train to Busan, obviously. 2. Pet. Had some issues but liked it. 3. Siren. The creature had a look of Rose McGowan. 4. White Coffin. Has anyone set fire to a child yet? No? Light that one up then. 5. They Call Me Jeeg Robot. Just because it was great. Special mention to Red Christmas- Yuletide ab...

Re: White Coffin
Good pace, cracked along so fast that you didn't question any of its bizarre logic. It was very familiar without me being able to put my finger on what exactly it reminded me of. And I did spend some time trying to finger it.

Re: Train to Busan
Loved this film, best of the festival and best horror film of the last year. Amazing stunt work and choreography and the cries of the little girl at the end were genuinely affecting. Amazing.
Re: Emilie
As a red-head, I felt the ginger kid got the worst treatment. Deservedly some may say. I remain steadfast in my belief that gingers are under-represented but over-abused in horror. That said, she was incredibly annoying and I felt that Emilie was somewhat justified in her actions.

Re: My top and bottom 3
Top 3) 1) A Christmas Horror Story- finally a brilliant Christmas horror film. It had twist that I didnt see coming but made perfect sense and an anthology film with no filler. 2) Bait - So much better than I expected with a brilliant villain and relateable, likeable protagonists. 3) Landmine Goes C...

Black Sabbath I think.IndianaM wrote:Anyone care to do a frame breakdown?
What is the film with the scary looking female puppet moving toward the screen? I saw this scene featured in one of the actual FF films this weekend too.

Re: Cougher in Horror Channel Screen
He was sat right behind me, on the plus side, the guy who shouted, "OK, I'll watch it" about The Strain in the same screen was a total highlight.

Re: Among the Living
I can almost forgive them anything given the fact that I think A L'IInterieur is the best horror film of the last 20 years. It's always good to see Beatrice Dalle cutting loose. That said, why shoot a bloodless film for 50 minutes then throw in some horrific images in the last 20? It was OK but unev...

Re: Frightfest's worst movie ever?
Federico Zampaglione sat and talked through somebody else's film during a previous Frightfest so I was never a fan. Tulpa struck me as Karma, it also struck me as hilarious. Not a contender for the worst film but possibly a contender for the best worst film.
Re: Xmoor
This film had the stupidest heroine I've seen since the seventies. She did everything possible to get herself killed and yet somehow still survived. I hope that the panther got her.

Re: Shockwave Darkside 3D
Terrible, terrible film. The 3D made me think I was having a stroke, I was lifting my arms during the film to make sure I wasn't. It felt like somebody had covered one of my eyes throughout. It comes to something when the very look of a film is the first thing you dislike about it, then came the dia...
