Re: Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark
*) plot holes, plot holes, plot holes, yes, your library just got wasted to shits, your daughter just smashed a little "something" in between bookshelves and has taken lots of photos. I didn't get why - after smashing that thing - instead of showing everyone the corpse, she showed them a ...

Re: Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark
I can see why they thought it could be a PG13, but I can also see why it has been rated 'R'. More horror content than I expected given the warning before the movie. Reminded me a little of 'Drag Me To Hell', while there were some effective and sustained sequences of suspense and atmosphere. However...

Re: Kill List
PS what did piss me off though is that the woman who there with Kill List thought it was appropriate to talk loudly all the way through the short film before it. We had to tell her to "shut the fcuk up"

Re: A Lonely Place to Die
Not the most spectacular end film ever, but I enjoyed it, liked the cinematography and if Frightfest has ever taught us something, it's never fcuk with a Serbian

Re: Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark
SO disappointed by this. Have seen and love the original and am a big Guillermo fan so was expecting great things. What a let down. The script was appalling, the characters were vile and one dimensional - Guy Pearce should be ashamed of himself.
Having said that, I quite liked the little monsters.

Re: Final Destination 5 - 3D
Shockingly, I haven't actually ever seen a Final Destination film! I really enjoyed this (althought the 3D gave me a cracking headache). Anybody else think that the main guy (who turns a bit psycho) was a mini-tom Cruise?
Re: Vile
Nothing new and not particuarly well done. Not one of my faves.

Re: Sennentuntschi
Really loved it. Didn't even realise how long it was as I was enjoying it so much. Fabulous to see the Swiss putting their mark on the horror mark :) BTW anyone got a spare poster for this?! So wanted to grab the one from the foyer after the last film but obviously someone else had the idea before m...
Re: The Woman
I love The Woman and it's fab to finally be able to talk about it with people! And how good does Pollyanna scrub up?
Re: Detention
I thought this was really great actually although scheduled at totally the wrong time.
