Re: Trailer for SAW VII 3D!
They showed the first two scenes at SDCC and they KILLED, and this was an audience largely filled up with press (i.e. not necessarily Saw fans). I think this will be a big hit (and in turn, won't be the last).

Oh well, it's his loss, not ours.
I've seen Damned by Dawn - it's a good flick. And the director came to the US when it showed at Screamfest LA to do Q&A and such - obviously he doesn't have a problem with "geeks" watching his movie.

Glad to see BURNING BRIGHT getting some love... Step Up 2 vs a Tiger!!! Plus Meat Loaf! I can't wait, I just wish it was on the main screen.

Re: Films everyone loves... except you!
There are many... I see some of the ones that came to mind just on this page (Hurt Locker, Fight Club). I think my biggest would have to be THE MATRIX. I didn't dislike the film, but I watched it and was like "eh, whatever" and then for the next month I hear everyone talking nonstop about ...

Re: Blockbuster Video
I still visit my store 1-2x a week. There are a lot of DTV/indie movies (most suck, to be honest) that I would never have heard of as they don't turn up in "if you liked this then you will like these" type suggestions. And like I said, a lot of them I wish I never saw, but for the rare Bab...

Re: John Saxon's Zombie Death House
Oh man, this movie is PAINFUL. First off, there are barely any zombies in it. Second, Saxon's scenes are almost all completely detached from the rest of the movie. Third, everything else. Here's my review if anyone is interested, there are some spoilers though: http://horror-movie-a-day.blogspot.com...

Re: Newbies!
Hi folks, my name is Brian Collins (aka BC) and I'm from Los Angeles. Making my first ever trip out of the country (excluding Canada) to come to this years FF. Very excited. I write for Bloody Disgusting and Horror Movie A Day, which is fun. Some of you may have disagreed with one of my reviews! Als...
