Re: The Devil's Doorway
It had a great story, and I don't think it reached it's potential, the blackouts on the film footage was annoying and the beeping of the light, I thought it was someone's mobile behind me,'The Magdalene Laundries was a horrific part of the Catholic's church abuse in Ireland. but it was all too simil...

Re: Halloween
The new Halloween film looks like it's going to basics, John Carpenter is back on board with Jamie Lee Curtis

The Night Eats The World
Very different and an original take on a Zombie film, reminded me of Robinson Crusoe in so many ways, based on a book by the Director Dominique Roche who did it with two co-writers, it is intense, funny, and very watchable, if you are expecting a lot of blood and gore, then you will be disappointed,...

Re: What happen to the hygiene guy?
It has been a massive problem for years, I had it one year with three people behind us and I nearly retched from the lack of hygiene, some people have to be told and if you intend to sit in a seat for four days and have no consideration for other film goers, sorry I have no sympathy, me I would have...

Re: Incident in a Ghostland
Very for film, full of twists, thoroughly enjoyed this film, bit disappointed the Director couldn't be there FOR Q&A
Re: Terrified
It reminded me of Insidious in so many ways, and a hint of Del Toro but it was a good film, not as good as Luciferina, but the flux of Argentina films coming out should be embraced, and I look forward to the forthcoming films

Re: Luciferina
Agree with everything you put down, for me there was an element of Dennis Wheatley's 'The Devil rides out', I even found touches of 'Rosemary's Baby and 'The Exorcist' within, it has to be one of my favourite films I have seen for a long time at Frightfest, Not a big fan of sex scenes in Horror film...

Re: Human Centipede Full Sequence
I though Tom Six was very funny especially when he spoke about the comments he received, I laughed when he said one had asked for him to be sterilised and the question from the bloke who asked him which part of the centipede would he have been made me chuckle, good question mate

Re: Cherry Tree Lane
Very disappointed with the film, I have seen a lot of home invasion films and this one lacked the brutal revenge that I like to associate with these sort of films, he lacked conviction especially when he was punching him at the end it was a bit windmill

Re: The Tortured
For me best film of the day, the funny thing was as I was coming out of the cinema, everyone was raving on about the torture scenes,I didn't hear one bit of sympathy for the poor bastard who evaded his tax, and mine is up to date at the moment, I found that amusing and strangely comforting. Revenge ...

Re: I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE
The original was a classic, the remake would have been better if it had been renamed and distanced from the original, don't get me wrong it was entertaining and the revenge very good, but in my opinion it has nothing on the original, I just wish people would leave the classics alone, I have yet to s...
