Re: Discovery Screen Tickets
For me there's two issues: 1. The use of such a tiny screen for the disco screen 2. The fact there is the PCC being used but the films selected for there aren't the ones that seem to be most popular Of course it needs to make money but the crazy frustrating buying on Saturday was not helped by using...

Buying disco tickets
Hi
As I missed last year's gathering can I ask how I get disco tickets. I've already got a pass so when it gets to Saturday lunchtime are they made available on the same site as my ticket is located?

Site advertising
Hi
Can I ask do we have guidance about people posting links to/from their own websites?
If not can I ask that if you own a site then please don't post to every update available, maybe just the odd post stating what you do and the various links contained within.
Maybe a mod can confirm?

Re: Thoughts on the schedule so far?
This year looks fantastic, I tend to research my films to watch and do a Must See, Indifferent or Not Bothered list and only two of the main screen films feature on the latter list.

Train Travel into London Euston
Quick heads up folks* There is a seat sale starting tomorrow with dates including the time FrightFest is on in August. If you haven't already booked then get ready tomorrow as these reduced fares go on sale and there won't be loads on each train so be flexible with the time that you go and consider ...

Re: Films For Glasgow 2017
I think this years line up looks truly superb and I'm buzzing about going. Last year was a bit hmm for me but this looks stellar. Before I do a FF event I usually read up on each film and do a list of Yes, Indifferent or No to each film and see how many of each I rate. This year there's 0 No's, 2 In...

Re: Travel to Glasgow
Kris, Thanks for the heads up. Greg, Alan Paul and myself have tickets on the 11.30 am London Euston to Glasgow train on the 25th, so it looks like we are in for a long day. We were due in around 4 pm so we should still be in time for 9.00 pm Forest screening all going well. 17.12 at Glasgow changi...

Travel to Glasgow
Just a quick heads up that the railway line to Glasgow north of Carlisle is still going to be closed when FF Glasgow is on. So if you are travelling from London it's a change of train at Carlisle and from Birmingham its a change of train at Preston and again at Carlisle. This is only an issue if you...

Re: 2016 Line-up
Looks a sound line up this year. Missed last year and year before was in Edinburgh but this year I'm in. Not much that I'm thinking doesn't appeal either.

Re: Glasgow Accommodation
I've stayed at the Newton Hotel before but no availability this year on single rooms. I'm trying the Victorian House this year. £90 ensuite with brekkie for x3 nights.
