Re: FrightFest Glasgow Dates
Glad it's moved a little later, post-payday and potential for a little more sunshine! Are you guys accepting submissions for short films for the Glasgow festival? Film Freeway only has submissions page for the main fest next August . . .

Re: Walking in and out of theater
Part of the problem is gonna be with the wealth of choice / amount of dross - many people will check a film out for half an hour then decide against it (I lasted 15 minutes in 31 before bailing for The Neighbour), which means sometimes being late for another movie. I was late arriving on the Thursda...
Re: Enclosure
Agree about The Hallow (didn't get the hype, thought it started well but really tailed off), I'd argue Enclosure would have been better without Jake Busey's character - he was so hateful that his presence muddled the tone a bit - and some of the logic towards the end got a bit random. Still really e...

Re: We are the flesh
Thought it was pretentious twaddle masquerading as arthouse provocation. Several other recent films have irked me in similar ways - Goodnight Mommy springs to mind. Spoke to alot of people who loved it but couldn't really hold a discussion about what made it interesting. It looked lush but lots of i...

Re: Coughing Man
What screen is it? I'm a bit paranoid it's me cos I'm conscious about needing to clear my throat every now and then - maybe 2-3 times a film - which is because I need an operation on my nose which I'm hoping to finally get next month . . .

4 full weekend passes for Splice screen still available - will sell individually, £100 each
Hey folks, been trying to sell 3 tickets I panic bought thinking friends would take them if it sold out (as it looked like it was going to), now it looks like I can't go either due to a family emergency (my mum is seriously ill in hospital as of last night), these tickets are for the front row in th...

Re: Got 2 spare tickets for Arrow screen or Splice screen - anyone looking?
Had an offer from someone looking for a couple of day passes so before I sell them for the price of 2 day passes, anyone looking for weekend tickets? Just to confirm, I have tickets on row E in Arrow Screen and Row A in Splice (3 spare in either), I will use whichever ones are left over, if anyone w...

Got 2 spare tickets for Arrow screen or Splice screen - anyone looking?
Row E in Arrow and Row A in Splice - whichever is fine, I will take the seats remaining. I am hoping for close to ticket price but feel free to make an offer via PM!

I'm guessing alot of people are having problems selling tickets - has anyone managed to secure a refund?
I have 3 tickets left out of 8 that I stupidly purchased thinking that they were all going to sell out in 10 minutes and friends were going to miss out - I feel the communication was sorely lacking in portraying the reality of the situation. Has anyone had any luck getting help selling or refunding ...

Panic bought 4 passes for front row in Splice Screen which I no longer need - any takers?
Hey folks, I have a block of 4 seats in the front row of the Splice Screen - anyone need some? Will sell separately if needed. Gonna call Vue and ask for a refund on Monday if noone wants em. That screen doesn't actually look too bad for front row, it's fairly small and boxy (which usually means scr...

Re: The Samurai
Wankfest. Should have followed through a bit more on some of its imagery / metaphorical nonsense. Some of it was just laughable (the dance). Looked nice and had an intriguing premise but trans killers are just lazy and borderline offensive now, there's been far better queer-friendly horror lately (S...

Re: Lineup announced - discussion/thoughts
Yeah, thanks Chris! Funny to have a 90 minute gap after the very first film, but that space has "PUB" written all over it... Might be a 3 and a half hour gap for me - really can't be arsed with Sin City. First one was over-rated, not expecting much from this, wish it had stayed where it was so I ha...

I expected this to be guff but actually thought it was OK-ish considering the low budget. 3/5
