I wonder if Eventive will get their finger out and deliver the FireStick app that was promised in time for the August digital FrightFest?

Re: HOW TO WATCH
Has there been any update on the amazon fire stick issue? Last I checked I haven't been able to find an app for it... also, i might've been an idiot and picked the two short film showcases before picking my other films and now I'm blocked from picking anything. I've emailed frightfest@mac.com and I...

Re: FrightFest August
Prepare yourself for the possibility. Nothing is decided yet, but the way things are going it seems unlikely anything will be back to what we consider normal by August.

Re: Why Can't You See Them?
Still a bit big, would be better removed if I'm honest.

Re: Why Can't You See Them?
Hi James, small request: could you keep the huge image out of your signature please? A small banner would be OK, but not the full size artwork I've had to remove from your sig. Cheers!

Re: Frightfest Halloween date
At a guess, and only a guess, mind you, I'd say it was probably it being the closest Saturday to Halloween.
That said, 2018's Halloween event was on Saturday 3rd November.

Re: Hello from Durham
Welcome to the forum! You'll probably find it gets pretty quiet around here from now on, as the main festival weekend is over and there's just Halloween and Glasgow to look forward to.
Re: Crawl
I just have to remember next time I'm trapped by an alligator in my bathroom to get it into the shower then slide the glass door shut. This was one of my biggest issues where I found it impossible to suspend my disbelief. The gator could smash its way through a set of thick wooden stairs in the bas...
Re: The Drone
Watching it with the Frightfest crowd was the perfect way for this to be seen, so try to watch it in a group so you can have fun with it. Absolutely. Had I watched this at home, alone, I would have likely hated it. However, with the crowd in attendance it was a great experience. Will I watch it aga...

Re: Bullets of Justice
I felt like this would have been better suited to The Duke Mitchell for its sheer bizarreness. I know we get some odd midnight movies, but this seemed too left-field even for that slot.

Re: Tales from the Lodge
I felt uneasy too, but only because I thought "Uh-oh, someone is going to take offence at that", however as a white cis male I guess I'm not well placed to judge whether or not it *is* offensive. Is it misogyny to have a female antagonist? Is it misandry to have a male antagonist? Homophobia to have...

Tales from the Lodge
Really loved this one after knowing next to nothing about it. Smartly written and great comic timing, as well as being very self-aware.

Re: Air Conditioning
I had to wear long trousers as opposed to shorts and take a “fucking” hoodie with me to each screening. I was still uncomfortable on the super screen balcony, even wrapped up. Also uncomfortably hot outside because I was overdressing for the Baltic conditions inside. Everyone is different, I like it...
