Re: Tickets for sale due to illness

Hi Alex,

Shame you can't make it to the festival.

Be happy to send you a random horror DVD ( sealed ) to watch while you have your chemo, not quite Frightfest and can't promise it will be an amazing film but, maybe you could have your own little private festival at home ?

DM me if interested.

Re: Discovery screen tickets

Pretty painless process, all three of my party managed to secure their disco screen tickets.

Tips.

Surname is case sensitive.
Use Firefox.
Don't hit the back button, use the links like DAY and FILMS to navigate.

Worked nicely.

Re: Discovery screen tickets

I don't think the email will be until the weekend, so no reason to panic just yet.

Re: Films for Frightfest August 2015

Anyone else think that KNOCK KNOCK would have played well to a FF crowd? I would go one further, given how modern audiences can be, a little difficult to deal with in horror movies, I would happily put off seeing some movies over the year if I knew they would be at FrightFest, I know the onus is of...

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Don't know if this helps anyone but: After three queues, and multiple attempts once in, I gave up on trying to get tickets for the Film 4 screen and tried on the Arrow screen -- and it worked. I think the system can't manage people selecting the same seats at the same time. My guess is that the cir...

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Well that was reasonably painless.

I used Firefox if that helps anybody, seemed to work without issue.

I'm not sure it's clear on the website, but how about this online planner for the event?

That is a thing of beauty, great job !

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Tune Hotel is within walking distance.

Last year I stayed at the Easy Hotel ( Barbican/Old Street ) and while it was all kinds of annoying ( Like a futuristic nightmare ) , it was cheap and about a 25 ish minute walk away from the cinema, do-able if you want cheap.

Sorry duplicate post.

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

Thanks for the response Ian, just excited to see the whole thing come together now.

Fingers crossed, for, amongst the horror and fantasy, some cool documentaries like we had last year. :D

Films are not the issue this year.

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

One thing that may be worth some thought, a lot of banking providers will block unusual transactions and I know that my account has been blocked due to Frightfest booking. Does the queing system have a contingency for blocked transactions or do you go to the Back of the queue again because this may ...

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

I've been to see bands that send out an early access website link to people on their mailing list so you get priority access to tickets before casual observers. Is this something FrightFest could consider if there was no sleepy queue? These are free mailing lists which anyone can sign up for at any...

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

Suggestions....urrrrm. Now this would totally kill the sleepy queue which I have done two years in a row and enjoyed the experience, so it may be a terrible idea. How about some kind of pre registration online, in advance ? Through your new ticketing provider ? It could work like some music festival...

Re: 2014 All nighter

The Editor was my favourite, I love all the Astron 6 stuff so I knew I would enjoy it, but I have been quoting lines all weekend, can't get released quick enough. I really enjoyed The Last Shift, really well made film, with a good premise that stuck to its guns, although, without spoiling anything, ...
