Re: 2022 Ticket prices

Thanks Ian - pass all sorted as of yesterday.

Do we have a date/time for the Discovery Screen tickets this year? I made such a mess of it last year by not checking and doublechecking I'd like to get it in the diary.

Re: Frightfest 2022 planners

Thanks (again) from me too Benj. I got my whole weekend plan done in no time plus a backup for if the Discovery tickets are as much of a disaster as last year :D

Re: FrightFest Glasgow 2022

Well I'm in :D

I also got return flights from Gatwick for £44.98 (Easyjet) if anybody's interested - I travel very light, but I think you can add in a bag for another six quid 👍

Re: FrightFest Glasgow 2022

Thanks Ian! It's a while since I've been to Glasgow, but I'm not missing out this time, so the hotel is booked. I'm not even that bothered what the films are about, if I'm honest :D

Re: FrightFest 2021

You’re welcome- happy to help :) And my pass has just been sent, after I spent the last three days panicking about not being able to figure out how to unlock anything or work the Eventive app I now have on my phone and my fire stick  I can catch up with virtually everything I wanted to see and...

Re: 2021 films

I thought there were some real crackers this year, even if it might be partly because I was so looking forward to it after missing out last year they could have stuck just about anything on and I would have sat through it maybe not Shockwave Darkside I was pissed off at missing Mark Kermode because ...

Re: FrightFest 2021

Thanks benj (and for your organiser - I use it every year too!) I've downloaded that and had a look at the schedule, but a lot of what I wanted to see is during work hours so I might be on a hiding to nothing anyway when it can't be started by the person watching at a time that suits. I also can't f...

Re: FrightFest 2021

Argh, I messed up - only just thought to check for Disco screen tickets and of course all the passholder tickets have gone for the films I wanted to see. Will more passholder tickets be made available on the day if the single tickets are not sold out? I'm hoping so - I was at work Wednesday, couldn...

Re: FrightFest 2021

I had an old Chromecast but it didn't want to work for me for last years digital Frightfest so I bought a Roku Premier instead and just downloaded the Eventive app onto that. Worked brilliantly so that gets my vote. I could do that, but it's 40 more quid, I probably won't use it again and I only re...

Re: FrightFest 2021

Yes, I get the 15 to Burdett Road on a Monday as I work over that way and Canary Wharf isn't far, although I'd likely get an Uber the rest of the way if it was late and I'd had a long day (and we definitely need a special bus thread ) I've just got the digital festival update and I'd quite like...

Re: FrightFest 2021

Is there a bus you can get? I'll be taking the N15 home from Haymarket eastwards after the late films (which'll be a bit of a trek but better than missing things) and you're welcome to get on with me if that stops anywhere useful and you don't fancy it on your own. That said I haven't had time to lo...

Re: FrightFest 2021

I'm in! And pretty much my first choice seat too, although that was mostly dumb luck while poking blindly at the screen because it wouldn't stop zooming in. I've spent a fair bit of time in the Cineworld over the last few weeks (their aircon is excellent and it's handy for the Prince Charles) and I'...

Re: What Keeps You Alive

I really enjoyed this too and I thought the score (also by Brittany Allen) was a real stand out. The couple were believable and while there was some seriously daft decision making it all worked very well and never dragged. I did think the flashback bit towards the very end was a bit superfluous but ...
