Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

First and only attempt - waited 1hr 7mins, selected an aisle seat in Horror Channel screen, "exception error", kicked out to back of queue. After last year's hilarity (website down, went to Vue, told no tickets, gave up, tickets on sale later, missed my chance), I thought this year might b...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

I know I'm only repeating what others on here have said, but here's why I'm rather annoyed: Gave up buying online due to issues. Got to Vue to buy in person. Told they had TOTALLY sold out of weekend passes. Gave up, posted on here. Found out a minute ago that they HADN'T sold out after all, and I c...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

I'm literally standing in a rainy Leicester Square as I type this. Wasn't having any luck on the site, so made the 40-min tube journey to the Vue. Upon arrival, Paul McEvoy was at the counter asking about how many tickets were left. Not many. There were a couple of front row (!) seats left in screen...

Exactly the same here! I'm going up there now.

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

It will take me about 4 hours to get there - but will be a damn sight easier than using their website or call centre...  My BT Broadband was down all morning, and only came on again at about 11:30 - nerve-wracking! If it's not one thing it's the other! Another 10 mins, then I'll get on t...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

My first post since last year!

I've been trying the website since 12:00. Tempted to just go up to the Vue and buy a pass. It'll take me about 40 mins to get there, but what are the odds that the website will open 1 minute after I've left the house...

Re: Bottom Five Films

Bottom 4 (enjoyed pretty much everything else I saw): The Dead 2: India (terribly unoriginal) V/H/S 2 (almost every segment was a zombie-movie variant!) Haunter (the celluloid version of a corpse: totally lifeless) Cannon Fodder (*terrible* CGI everywhere. Looked like a SNES game) Personal favourite...

FF14 for me. Quite a late booking, but pretty happy with the seat. :)

Re: Seating

You should be able to pick up your lanyard on the Wednesday, no problem. Last year I got my weekend pass online and picked up the lanyard in July while in London for 'The Dark Knight Rises' at the IMAX. They had no problem grabbing the lanyard for me even though it was nowhere near August. :) Yep -...

Re: Going it Alone

Any other people going alone this year? Hi James. I'm a Frightfest newbie - and going on my own. For some reason, I couldn't convince anyone that watching 26 horror films in 5 days is a good idea! Really looking forward to the experience, and from my past experience of horror fans, I think it will ...

Re: Frightfest 2013 Ticket Information

Where you travelling from in South London dude? Collier's Wood - an easy journey! Bit like bus drivers, you might not know the person but there is an acknowledgement that you are all kindred spirits. Thanks for the info! Yeah - I've always found horror fans to be really sociable. At film fairs, con...

Re: Frightfest 2013 Ticket Information

Ladies & Gents, For the first time, I've managed to think ahead and book enough time off work to get a Festival Pass. Two questions for some of the regulars: Firstly, I bought online (pretty happy with the seat - still loads left even last night!), so can I just turn up at the Empire between now...
