Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

I just called Vue after getting a confirmation of an online festival pass booking on screen but not receiving an email. They confirmed that I had secured a pass, that there have been email problems too, and that I had been charged twice. I asked for a refund so I haven't overpaid but also so any pos...

Re: The Dyatlov Pass Incident

Got nothing out of this one apart from a numb bum. Should be renamed The Dilated Ass Incident.

Re: Missing In Action

I would have liked to have seen The Profane Exhibit, The Theatre Bizarre 2 and Thanatomorphose. If I could have picked anyone to attend it would have been Timo Tijahjanto.

Re: 5 most anticapated films?

I've seen You're Next (violent comedy), V/H/S 2 (worth it for Safe Haven alone) and Hansel & Gretel Get Baked (stoner comedy) so would go for: 1. Big Bad Wolves-looks right up my street, must try and see Rabies beforehand 2. Painless-great feedback from friends, seems to have a modern French fee...

Re: VHS 2 - do I or don't I?

I didn't like the first one. This one is totally different. Timo Tjahjanto steals the show with Safe Haven (as he did with L is for Libido in the ABC's). It's worth seeing for his segment alone.

Re: This years Festival guests

Go with Zappa's link above as that's the official release which appeared later on. Interesting to see that the line up has descended from the likes of Dario Argento to stars of Eastenders, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks. As it's Film Four they could have at least added Brookside.

Re: Discovery Film Recommendations

Thanks Alessa, I'm hoping that I'll be ok as the few I'm looking to miss are fairly big titles so there should be less demand. Although I did think for a moment that they were holding a disco too. I now have my fingers crossed for a decent guest lineup announcement later on and confirmation of the p...

Re: Discovery Film Recommendations

Thanks DJ, much appreciated. I thought that might be the case but was holding out for someone to say there's a 'speedy boarding' queue for pass holders or you could book in advance. I shall bring a bale of towels to reserve my place.

Re: Discovery Film Recommendations

Hi there, sorry, am new to this and it will be my first time. I have a festival pass but was wondering how you go about securing tickets for discovery movies? There are main screen showings I'm not interested in and want to see films showing on other screens at the same time. I thought that having a...
