Re: 2019 Discovery Screens

For anyone who booked for the Dario Argento Interview/Signing event, the autobiography is not on general release until September. However the FAB Press website shows that there will be copies (Collectors Edition) of the book available for cash purchase at FrightFest 2019. https://www.fabpress.com/fe...

Huh. Suddenly sped up, got 3rd and 4th in nothing flat.
Yup, starting working really well at 12:35... I guess either the initial rush had tailed off, or they assigned more processing power to the ticketing AI...!? :s

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens

22 minutes to get one ticket... I also had the 'Oops' message once and had to go again... this is scarier than the films...

EDIT: I'm sure it will be worth it though!

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens

If it’s the same as the last couple of years then they’ll become available through the same ticketing site closer to the festival. As a festival pass holder you will be able to select 1 seat (where available) for each of discovery films you wish to see. If someone else bought your festival pass for...

2019 Discovery Screens

Hey folks, Anyone in the know about securing tickets for the Discovery Screenings this year? Apologies if the process is detailed somewhere, or in another thread. I've just searched and cannot find any info? I've been to FF a few times now and each year I forget how we get the tickets, or it changes...

Re: 2019 Ticket info.

I got middle E! Don't throw popcorn at me neighbour! I will be sitting in judgement of the back of the person's head who is in my originally selected seat! I hope they can live with my judgement. I'm too polite to throw anything but a mean look, unfortunately. I can indeed live with that... :...

Re: 2019 Ticket info.

Finally managed to get my ticket. I was aiming for middle of E (and got there twice to payments timing out), but ended up with middle of F after an hour. I'm happy despite the experience. Literally everything is paid for and booked, hotel and travel too. I just gotta turn up and survive. :twi...

Re: 2019 Ticket info.

Mine kept timing out whilst processing the payment, but I kept going (all the while watching the timer in the corner counting down to around 2 mins left!). Eventually I got a blank screen, but the web page tab said 'successful' (everything else was blank). Held my breath for a bit until the email ar...

Re: FrightFest 2018

I'm in F this year too, was further forward last year (in the 'eye-bleeders' as someone mentioned). Just hope this is far enough back. Interesting to see so many seats still available near the front, these used to be very scarce 10 mins in... Thanks to the organisers for a smooth process again this ...

Discovery Screen Ticketing System

The process of purchasing Festival Passes was seamless this year (and last), so why is it so different for the Disco tickets? The nutickets website ran like a dog for me. Anyone else? I was being offered tickets on the screens I had chosen, waited minimum of 30-60 seconds to be told they had been he...

Re: Ticket Sales

Wow, I am impressed. This is the first 'surge' ticket booking system I have used which hasn't crashed at some point in the transaction. Year before last was a nightmare. I sat with my GPS watch, and literally two seconds after midday the site was alive! It was cool (but unnerving) to see the seats d...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

I had the same dramas, 30min MOBILE call (Jeez, that's gonna hurt!) to VUE customer services followed by a 45min ride into town to hand-purchase a weekend pass. Consider myself v.lucky to be able to get into town and to have finally gotten get a pass, though it is in the small screen and close to th...
