Re: Top Knot Detective
More of a chuckle than laugh out loud funny, but a good idea well executed. The old footage felt authentic and interviews with cast and crew reminded me of the DVD extras I've watched for many a cult Japanese film. The sub-plot which emerged elevated it above a simple spoof. 7/10 I genuinely went i...

Re: The Glass Coffin
I don't get it - why would one bad film experience ruin your festival? I didn't catch this one myself It triggered me and knocked my brain out a bit for the next.. 36hrs. Which were FF hours. So yeah, it screwed up my weekend a bit. Haven't been set off by a film before and what affected me is prob...

Re: Best and worst film?
Best - Lowlife. Just brilliant, entertaining, funny, unpredictable, and quite emotional. Superbly acted. I could go on. Agreed And the film makers were lovely. Worst - The End? This probably isn't a fair choice, but I skipped out on Adult Babies and Psychopaths so can't resort to those two. And Gla...

Re: Food
Well all those food sounds unhealthy, chainy and terrible.
I'll probably bring my own food again, with the occasional ice cream from udderlicious (5- min walk)

Re: Full festival pass for sale
Sent you a message
Alternatively, if anyone else has a centralish, not front row weekend pass to sell, send me a PM.
Last year lots of people were trying to sell on tickets last minute.
I appreciate that tickets are still on sale, but I'd rather someone with a spare saves the money/booking fee.

Did anybody watch this?
Was it Attack the Block or late night gritty BBC estate drama with sinisteryness?

Re: Let Her Out
Frustratingly abnormal reactions and behaviour from the female leads (like everyone in ' Contracted ', and horribly drawn 2D men. Nice end transformation scene that definitely took too long to get there. Enjoyed the stethoscope scene as much as everyone else. Somehow still generally enjoyed this abs...

Re: Lost Solace
I would say it was one of the more unusual films I saw at FF this year though, so I wouldn't want to be over-critical as I think that's a good thing. I'd much rather have more films on the menu like Lost Solace and We Are the Flesh than Blood Feast ! Agreed. Really enjoyed this one, and the writer/...
Re: Cell
-For me this was genuinely the scariest film of the festival. -It allowed my brain to create a very interesting cell world dream, the only fright fest film dream I had all festival. 10/10 dream. 7.5/10 film. -I enjoyed it from start to finish without drooping. The film's pace alongside the rapid dev...
