Re: 2021 films

I wish the other 5 episodes hadn't played tbh :green: As someone heckled in the crowd, 'does anyone actually like these?'

Re: 2021 films

Had a blast as always, great to be back and thanks to the crew for organizing it!

My personal top 5 was:

The Sadness
Broadcast Signal Intrusion
No Man of God
Sound of Violence
Sweetie, You Won't Believe It

Least faves: Prisoners of the Ghostland, The Changed, Demonic. All stinkers imo.

Re: FrightFest 2021

I'm hoping so - I was at work Wednesday, couldn't get online until 9pm and while I managed to get two there was nothing left for the ones I really wanted (a three hour folk horror documentary showing on a Sunday morning completely sold out - who knew? :D) I'm hoping there'll be a system like previo...

Re: FrightFest 2021

Argh, I messed up - only just thought to check for Disco screen tickets and of course all the passholder tickets have gone for the films I wanted to see. Will more passholder tickets be made available on the day if the single tickets are not sold out?

Re: FrightFest 2021

Not easy. I live in Canary Wharf and last time I tried to get home from the centre of town by night buses it took three different buses, a lot of trekking between stops and about three hours total! N15 would only get me as far as Tower Bridge and then there's just the N550, which runs about once an...

Re: FrightFest 2021

Yeah, makes sense if there's a bunch of you. I'm on my tod this year though so it's less economical. I'm unfortunately looking at having to skip the last film of the night on Thu/Fri/Sat atm. Sadly, TfL also canned the night tube cos of COVID-related staff shortages and don't look like re-instating ...

Re: FrightFest 2021

Worth noting that congestion charging is in effect 24/7 currently though: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/congestion-charge. It was brought in as a temporary measure during lockdown, but looks like it's here to stay - afaik Khan hasn't said anything about reverting to Mon-Fri 7-6. I used to drive i...

Re: FrightFest 2021

^ Ditto. I wasn't sure whether I was going to go this year but checking it was surprised to find quite a lot of weekend passes left, a few decent single seats, so I nabbed one. I guess a lot of people are still wary of going to an event like this. On my lonesome this year, but looking forward to it....

Re: Rabbit in Red Lounge

I tried using it a couple of years ago - never received the order, and only got the money back via PayPal. No response to any emails I sent them. I would contact them before purchasing if I were you and only order if you get a response. As DJBenz says, you will be covered by PayPal, but it's a hassle.

Thanks Ian, that's a good discount! I'll definitely be avoiding the fright bus on a couple of nights now!

Parking

Does FrightFest have any kind of deal with nearby car parks like Q-Park this year? I know discounts have been negotiated at past events.

Cheers

Re: 2019 Ticket info.

Nowadays, booking for the LFF is - touch wood and cross fingers - almost entirely smooth and painless. It's a little slow for the first 20 or 30 minutes, a bit nerve-wracking (because I always expect the worst), but - touch wood again - the system doesn't crash and tickets don't vanish from your ba...
