Re: FrightFest October 2020
Was there a short missing? It seemed to go from Lights Out to The Mime for me? I didn’t get:

Re: FrightFest October 2020
I had a freeze early on too, and saw someone else mention it on Twitter (shortly after they first enter the house, and it resumed at the sink). Also, after Barbara’s intro it seemed like something else was about to play (with Paul?) but it cut into the film before I could even tell what it was.

Re: FrightFest October 2020
Can’t seem to get the Q&A after Sacrifice (there is one, right?). After the credits I get ‘Loading’, tried backing out and playing again, which ran a portion of the end of the film and the credits again to be met with ‘Loading’ still. I’m using Roku if that makes any difference. Is that it, my chanc...

Re: FrightFest October 2020
Just set up my Roku Streaming Stick, bought my pass, added the channel and the opening night films. Still haven't decided on what to watch for the rest of the festival (is there a missing film on Sunday in the Arrow Video screen; around 2pm-ish?). Nor have I actually watched anything on the stick ye...

Re: HOW TO WATCH
Just a heads up that there are a few Roku reductions for Prime Day on Amazon.
Still debating picking one up or running an HDMI cable to my TV.

Re: FrightFest October 2020
Thank you for the update! Also, perhaps I'm being stupid, but I cannot find the main list of screens and films on the Frightfest site (to see times / clashes, etc). I can only find the news item with the films listed. Can anyone throw me a link? Or is it just not up yet? I'm 90% sure it's me being s...

Re: FrightFest October 2020
I’m liking the pass price of £66.66  Looking forward to the line up reveal. Still hoping for native Fire TV support (I’m not on Facebook, has anything new been mentioned?). It’d be cool if they were able to do what Grimmfest are doing with some films getting a 24-48 hour window to watch after p...

Re: HOW TO WATCH
I wonder if Eventive will get their finger out and deliver the FireStick app that was promised in time for the August digital FrightFest? I am literally praying they have Fire TV support come October. Have a look over on the FrightFest Facebook page. There is a discussion about the FireStick going ...

Re: HOW TO WATCH
Back on topic, for anyone who didn’t catch the livestream, they mentioned Fire Stick / TV support is the next thing they’re working on. Hoping to have it done in time for the festival.

Re: HOW TO WATCH
Rather off topic and I don't know what your contract at your place of work is but as far as I'm aware no holidays should have been "reset with furlough." If needs be I'd speak to ACAS https://www.acas.org.uk/coronavirus/using-holiday Reset is probably the wrong word, we’re not losing any holidays, ...

Re: HOW TO WATCH
It’s a shame there’s no direct FireTV or console support, there are definitely a couple of films I would have happily bought tickets for. Sadly our holidays reset with furlough, and it’s too early to book time off, so the one I was most interested in (There’s No Such Thing As Vampires) I would just ...

Re: FrightFest August
It's largely subjective, and entirely dependant on the line up. But I guess an upper limit to me would be around £100, I don't think I'd want to go above that. But I guess it would depend on infrastructure too, and how everything worked. Would you literally get just the one chance to see something, ...

Re: FrightFest August
I’m very curious about the all digital festival in August. But apprehensive about price and potential technical issues. When it can at times be an arduous struggle just to book a seat...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
If you have Amazon Prime there is a Frighfest Presents strand on there with some of last year's films which may have something you missed. I do! I was aware, but actually hadn't checked for a while, so thanks :D. I've caught some random things thanks to Prime, the likes of The Laplace's Demon, than...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
It's so hard isn't it. Seeing some people's Disco picks has me wishing I'd gone for that, but so many of them are on the Sunday, which is from start to finish essential viewing in the main screen to me. Hopefully a lot of what I'm interested in will make it out there, on BR/DVD or digital. There's a...
