Re: FrightFest 2024
I appreciate you taking the time Bvmjain! Incredibly helpful. I’d completely forgotten the Day Pass crowd were in the main screen with us last year, which I think is why there was more of a ticketing panic. Definitely feel reassured. Thanks!

Re: FrightFest 2024
What does the relocation mean, out of interest? I generally travel to London for it, so I'm not familiar with the differences between the cinemas (I guess one Odeon is not good enough for the square, they need 2?!). Obviously more screens, but will there be more or less seats for the main screen? Is...

Re: FrightFest 2023
Decided to just buy a ticket for Sympathy for the Devil rather than wait to take my chance when they go up for Festival Pass holders.Mancunian Man is the only film in the main line up I'm 100% convinced I would not enjoy, so it's ideal that it's in the same timeslot.

Re: FrightFest 2023
I guess the ticketing site already had my details because it kinda just went through instantly and was like here's your barcode. I was legit like, wait did I pay?!?

Re: FrightFest 2023
Is it a new ticketing site? I was gonna check my log in details worked fine for tomorrow, but the link says the site isn't live yet.

Re: 2021 films
The closed captioning subtitles for Fire TV don’t seem to work with the Eventive app. A disappointing waste. Was looking forward to As In Heaven, So On Earth. Would have booked something else had I known. Bizarre, as I’ve watched two other films with subtitles that played fine. I’m now wondering if ...

Re: FrightFest 2021
Just realised my second vaccination date is the Bank Holiday Monday (very curious they're open). It never even crossed my mind, it was one of two dates open for my second appointment, and they seemingly will not let you book a first without a second. I wonder if there'll be a digital component at al...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
If you have Amazon Prime there is a Frighfest Presents strand on there with some of last year's films which may have something you missed. I do! I was aware, but actually hadn't checked for a while, so thanks :D. I've caught some random things thanks to Prime, the likes of The Laplace's Demon, than...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
It's so hard isn't it. Seeing some people's Disco picks has me wishing I'd gone for that, but so many of them are on the Sunday, which is from start to finish essential viewing in the main screen to me. Hopefully a lot of what I'm interested in will make it out there, on BR/DVD or digital. There's a...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
I am concerned I don't have an e-mail for Halloween Party. It does show in my account though, so I assume it's fine. I can't even remember if that's one of the ones that hung on an 'Oops' page.

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
It was a mess, but there were sporadic moments where everything worked super efficiently. I managed to get my 8 Discovery picks, and didn't have to resort to any planned substitutes. I'm going to see Haunt, Red Letter Day, Porno, Halloween Party, The Barge People, Critters Attack, True Fiction and I...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
There seems to be an open space on the Saturday, around 6:30, between Extracurricular and Halloween Party. Is that likely to be filled prior to Saturday, or is it being saved for something that proves unexpectedly popular? I can't lie I'm finding scheduling Saturday the hardest. There's not a lot th...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens
Is it when single tickets go on sale that we can secure Discovery tickets? Or has it just not been announced yet? I can't for the life of me remember how it went last year. I'm just curious because I haven't had a spare minute to properly peruse the schedule and make selections.

Re: 2019 Ticket info.
I will be sitting in judgement of the back of the person's head who is in my originally selected seat! I hope they can live with my judgement. I'm too polite to throw anything but a mean look, unfortunately.

Re: 2019 Ticket info.
Finally managed to get my ticket. I was aiming for middle of E (and got there twice to payments timing out), but ended up with middle of F after an hour. I'm happy despite the experience. Literally everything is paid for and booked, hotel and travel too. I just gotta turn up and survive. :twis...
