I'm making a holiday of it and have booked the Z hotel in Soho. Tad expensive, but really close to the cinema. Chose this hotel for that reason. I agree the best way to go into the event is knowing as little as possible about the films. I have done this all my career as a film programmer and yes I have had to sits through many dogs, bit also made some amazing discoveries that other avoided cause the listened to others or watched the trailer...

When I went to the Glasgow event, all I knew about the films was what little the site said about them. I didn't look at the trailers at all. I found it to be more enjoyable, the less known about the films the better. Same at my local event.
