Re: Barbarian

If you’ve seen both films the question of similarity was completely redundant so I’m not surprised the question was completely dismissed.
For the sake of those that might not have seen both or either (as well as there being little point) I’ll not elaborate further.

Re: FrightFest 2021 Schedulers

Stellar work as ever benj! We use your one every year to plan our whole weekend so cannot thank you enough (again).
If we can somehow express our crew’s gratitude in pints (or similar) this year let’s work something out :green:

Re: Spiral

I made the assumption that the harassment was carried out on the part of the Good samaritan character (using some twisted logic) to make the chosen victims “Get Out”.
Ridiculously heavy handed in it’s depiction of those being targeted in each case though I must say...

As ever, let me know if you spot anything incorrect here and I'll sort it ASAP... Arrow screen Horror screen Benj - Your planners have solved my FrightFest scheduling headac...

Re: FrightFest 2019 Schedulers

Hi there, I created this so everyone can post links to their Schedulers. My effort is a lightweight, mobile-friendly, single page with the schedule and the film descriptions from the official website. I find this easier than fumbling through the programme at every interval and you can leave it open...

Re: Full Festival Pass for sale

Same thing happened to us except we have 2 more than we need rather than one.

I’ve mailed Helen to organise a refund which I would expect to be a realistic outcome given the performance failures of the ticketing site -

helen@frightfest.co.uk

Hope you get it sorted either way!

Re: 2019 Ticket info.

Didn't get my preferred seat, but after frantically clicking all the left over green dots in panic, I managed to get J-34. Hope my neighbours don't mind me spilling all my nachos again. Haha - there’s 4 of us but we had to split 2 and 2 because of the chaos. 2 of those are J35 and J36. Though, if y...

Re: 2019 Discovery Screens

If it’s the same as the last couple of years then they’ll become available through the same ticketing site closer to the festival. As a festival pass holder you will be able to select 1 seat (where available) for each of discovery films you wish to see. If someone else bought your festival pass for ...

Re: 2019 Ticket info.

In terms of online ticket purchase experiences for FF, our crew may have had better but certainly have had worse (Vue circle of death anyone?) Got there after about an hour after multiple kick outs, payment failures etc. One real issue I have now is that I have 2 festival passes I didn’t think I’d m...

Re: Dementia Part II

A free shot of whisky (or two) will get you everywhere... :green: Hilarious, disturbing and disgusting in equal measures and quite a cinematic achievement given that it was put together within the constraints of a challenge set by another festival. One of my highlights and, agreed, Suzanne Voss was ...

Exactly my thoughts both ‘texturally’ (not to sound like a d***) and thematically with the mental state of the main character inflicting confusion, isolation and a disconnect with past and present events.

Thought this was an excellent film.

Scanned these reviews very quickly to avoid spoilers, though glad to see the positive feedback despite this being one of the few disco films I wanted, but missed out on, this year.
Will be certain to seek this one out!

Re: BRING BACK THE Q & As

Although I haven’t quite been caught out by this myself (yet), I’d suggest the latecomers may be due to the extended intros messing up the timings between disco screening finish times and main screen start times (or vice verse). For example one of our crew that went to see Bad Samaritan yesterday ha...

Re: Printing tickets

It’s also worth noting that, although the tickets and QR code download to Apple wallet (if you have an iPhone), there is no reference to the seat number you have booked.

To avoid any confusion (likely to be mostly my own admittedly) i’m just gonna print them out...
