Re: From the beginning

I was there annoying you guys every year from 2000 - 2016 except for 2006, though may not be in many pictures on account of breaking cameras/unable to fit in the frame ;)

Re: Movies For August 2017 Fest

Nice list Chris! :)

Stake Land 2 and XX do have UK DVD releases fairly soon (3 April and 8 May respectively) but for the latter in particular there it wouldn't surprise me for there to be shown as part of a special slot (eg within part of a followup to 2016s Women In Horror?)

Patient Zero maybe - Matt Smith and Natalie Dormer could be rather popular if they made it I imagine? :)

Re: FrightFest 2015 DVD/Bluray/Internet releases

Haven't experienced many date shifts other than that one from Amazon Germany myself (found UK to shift more, eg Split Second), though they do have form for putting PAL running times for Blu-Ray... Oddly there seems to be a split with Deathgasm as several places list the theatrical running time of De...

Re: Some Kind Of Hate

Also in the Film4 Q&A and while I did like that there was the opportunity to respond, don't think the "bandwagon" assumption is really fair - there was the one side of showing characters who did have to deal with bullying, but there wasn't really an answer to the weaponising (and sexua...

Re: Frightfest Thanks

Huge thanks to the team who made this once again - as well as Paul, Ian, Alan and Greg, all the Vue staff I spoke to on ways in and out were lovely and bar the unfortunate issue with aircon the technical side was pretty seamless! Plus, with The Strain's second season having already started, it was p...

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

FrightFest needs to return to its roots, real genre gems that wouldn't normally get a wider release instead of settling for mainstream PG-13 stuff which is clearly only there to either a) provide funds for the festival due to showing a high profile release b) appeal to a wider audience. To be fair,...
