Yep definitely up for seeing both of those films after the shoot on the first Saturday. And Rawshark is right - we are wanting as many people as possible to volunteer themselves to be dressed up/ made up and be photographed, as well as creative bods to provide costumes and their services as makeup a...

That sounds like a fab idea! Would be great to go to the screening still in costume too - as zombies, werewolves and ghouls! :-)

Caught Wolverine last night - was much more fun than I thought it would be, and definitely worth a look to see Ryan Reynolds sword fighting at immense speed! Liev Schrieber was fantastic and totally out-acted Hugh Jackman, but all the cast were pretty good on the whole. Really good fun, action packe...

I am also after Night of the Creeps on dvd if anyone knows of anywhere. I read that the same people behind the Monster Squad special edition dvd are working on a Night of the Creeps release. Who knows when it'll see the light of day though. We saw it on the big screen at the Dublin Horrorthon last ...

Wasn't really enjoying it at the start, but the longer it went on, the more I kinda found myself (whilst not loving it) admiring what it had set out to do. Not one I'll be watching again in a hurry, although the more i think about it the more it lingers with me. File under 'interesting experiment'....

Random - that's the only word I can use to describe it... It was so strange, I can't even decide if I disliked it or enjoyed it - all I know is that I didn't really understand what the film was going for/ about, except an old guy having loads of young naked women throwing themselves at him! I'm sure...

Yeah, so much wrong with it in terms of plot and logic! A lot of things are left unexplained and aspects of the film which you would expect to have a purpose (i.e. lead female characters sign language), never come to anything. A bit of a novice attempt at a film - it was very poorly lit (to the poin...

It was my second time seeing Not Quite Hollywood, and it was just as good (if not better) than first time round! I too have a long list of Oz films I wish to catch up on, mainly Road Games, Next of Kin, Fair Game, and perhaps slip a Mad Max day in somewhere! Tarantino is hilarious and (apart from th...

Surprise film: Lesbian Vampire Killers

Ok, so maybe it wasn't much of a surprise, but I loved the fact that Ian, Paul, and Alan carried it as one until the very last moment! :D As a big 'Gavin and Stacey' fan I was very excited to see the boys in this one! Matt and James's characters didn't stray too far from the Gavin and Smithy we all ...

I thought this was actually not bad! I'm not a big fan of musicals/ operas, and whereas 'The Sound of Music' and 'Dream Girls' left me recoiling in horror, 'Repo: The Genetic Opera' I actually found quite enjoyable (for the most part). I agree the songs did at times sound rather repetitive and not e...

the girl who played dorothy was amazing- at times she seemed only about 8 years old, five minutes later she could be late 20s!
