7/10 - some interesting ideas here, but it didn't go in the direction I'd have preferred and too much was left unexplained (for a change). In particular... why was Josef going to Devil's Den in the first place?
From the Newsletter : We have decided that having a flood of people walking out in front of the visiting guests when they are being interviewed due to other films starting or limited scheduled breaks is really not a good look. This is understandable... but another thing causing that flood is that t...
1/10 - Melonheads raised a chuckle, but everything else here was turgid and awful. If, in future years, you are offered a free DVD of this, slap your 'benefactor' soundly and cry, "Be off with you, charlatan!"

Anyone have any links for info?? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...
9/10 - Argentinian take on The Grudge. Hopefully any sequels will avoid the same trap, though... and hopefully we will see a continuation (and expansion / exploration of this mythos). Subs could use some polishing.

7/10 - Too slow in the early stages, but at least it's setting up a more complicated situation for later. The script then doesn't make the best use of that, alas. Definitely enjoyable at times, though.
9/10 - Action scifi with a horror edge. Mainstream enough (and good enough) to do quite well if it gets the right release. Some interesting shots in the fight scenes - though it felt like a bit of slowmo might have helped.
8/10 - Sometimes unexpectedly twisty, sometimes annoyingly predictable (LOOK AT ME I'M A PLOT DEVICE FOR LATER ON!). A tad too long. But well made and good-looking, particularly for a crew+cast of just 13.
5/10 - dull and grey. By the end, chunks of the audience were laughing at a movie that definitely wasn't meant to be a comedy... There was some potential here for a psychic nun detective story (a thriving genre), but that's not how it come out. (If you're in film, and anyone ever says, "I'm going fo...
