My interpretation was that it made them fixated on doing whatever they'd been into in the first place - so the users craved drugs, the dancers wanted to dance... and they'd go postal on anyone who got in the way of their thing.

You know you'll miss it
5/10 - arthouse nonsense. I didn't care who lived or died... and it's just as well because I couldn't tell who did - indeed, the arty upside down final shot didn't even tell me who the villain was. Maybe a script and some actors would have helped... but I'm pretty sure this plot was doomed to failur...
7/10 - some interesting ideas here, but it didn't go in the direction I'd have preferred and too much was left unexplained (for a change). In particular... why was Josef going to Devil's Den in the first place?

9/10 - Argentinian take on The Grudge. Hopefully any sequels will avoid the same trap, though... and hopefully we will see a continuation (and expansion / exploration of this mythos). Subs could use some polishing.
