This one's been picked up for distribution here and in America. http://www.joblo.com/arrow/index.php?id=13601 Way back in June we told you about a little UK horror comedy called MUM & DAD (check out that first update HERE), though truth be told, this flick looks far from being a comedy, but that's w...

Can anyone remember what that brilliant Joan Allen line was? Something like "don't f*** with me or you'll be sh**ing on the sidewalk".

EDIT: Never mind, I just looked it up on imdb's memorable quotes. It's "Okay you, cocksucker. F*** with me, and we'll see who sh*ts on the sidewalk"

I've just read that the Robocop remake might actually be more of a sort of sequel. Arrow in the head.com posted this from the "loglines" (whatever a logline is)

Present day Los Angeles, 20 years after the termination of the RoboCop program, the city decides to reinstate the program

Good grief, that's genuine. When I first looked at it I assumed it was a fan mock up or something. But I've just been reading about it.

Definitely one I'll be avoiding.

Grindhouse wrote:but theres 2 big hitters out there to come,The Dark Knight & Hellboy 2,both look to have the re-sit value, Indy doesnt have.

Don't forget Hulk 2, that looks good. Though any of this year's summer films will have a hell of a job being better than the brilliant Iron Man.

I'm another who really liked P2. I especially enjoyed Wes Bentley's OTT performance as the baddie.

I thought REC was brilliant. I didn't just jump, I literally screamed twice (not like a girl, a deep, manly scream. Similar to a lion.) It wasn't just jump scares though, there was genuine fear and tension throughout. But I agree, please let this be the end of hand-held camera horror films. Strange ...

Yeah, that's pretty much what I understood from the guardian website. And I agree with him.

I'm not sure they do, I think a lot of people view it as just an efficient, nasty thriller and ignore the lecturing. That's how I viewed it. I knew there was meant to be some kind of message in there but I couldn't make head nor tail of it. I can't access you tube at work, would anyone mind summing...

Funny Games US Based purely on the quality of the film itself I'd say it was good. The acting was great (Michael Pitt especially scared the crap out of me), the tension was high and the whole situation was handled well, for the most part. But apparently there is supposed to be some deep meaning to ...

Cold & Dark is terrible. I mean, dismally bad. Lame, dull, cheap, illogical, pointless... Tough vice cop Luke Goss is up against a mythical slasher beast thing (apparently from Kurdistan) violently despatching a bunch of people-trafficking gangsters in Falmouth. When the high point of a movie is a ...

Right, so I watched I Know Who Killed Me last night. For ages I've suspected that all the negativity that's been directed towards it is simply down to the fact that it's considered cool to have a go at Lindsay Lohan. Now that I've seen it, I'll say that I can see why plenty of people genuinely didn'...

Also saw Shower of Blood , which quite possibly features the worst acting ever. The nudity doesn't save it as the wimmin are all pretty unbecoming. Hehe, worth watching though for the bit near the start where that blonde one keeps burping and farting. I laughed so hard at that! Are you another zone...

peaking with a ludicrous scene as our heroine sneaks around a drive-in cinema looking for couples making out in the back seats - and is compelled to wet herself while watching them. Haha, that sounds brilliant. I must look out for it on telly, just so I can watch that bit. The only film of his I've...
