I'm about half way through timing all the films up and so far, the good news is I have managed to work in a minimum of a 50 minute break every day to allow everyone to go get some food before the first of the evening films.

I agree the best way to go into the event is knowing as little as possible about the films. I have done this all my career as a film programmer and yes I have had to sits through many dogs, bit also made some amazing discoveries that other avoided cause the listened to others or watched the trailer ...
It's always fun reading these suggestions. Many are possible and will be in the line-up and others for all sorts of reasons will not. We will have a locked programme by the end of today, Monday 19th June, so not long to find out if any of the films suggested in these pages have made the cut.

We are using four screens at the cinema. The largest with just over 700 seats and screen two with 300 seats for the main screen films and screens four and five for this years discovery screens. We have not been given the use of the Impact screen.
With the festival moving back into central London and the Cineworld Empire Leicester Square, while this brings many positives, it will impact on the amount of Discovery Screen tickets available.
