Re: All Nighter News
They said schedules go up on Tuesdays but I told them these are to go onsale at midday today. Reckon there's just a delay. Just hope there aren't more than 400 at the Vue buying them but I doubt it.

Re: films we just saw
A little 'Found Footage' list to plough through! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Found_footage_%28genre%29#Examples_of_found-footage_films Doesn't include 2005's 'In Memorium' which could be called a Paranormal Activity rip off where it not for the fact it was made two years before. Not great from what...

Re: Human Centipede II
At the BBFC discussion before 'Cannibal Holocaust' a couple of weeks ago, the BBFC said they do not sensor films by thinking of the effect on 'deviants' but on a general audience. Most (non horror fan) friends and colleagues I talk to (possibly bore) with discussion on Human Centipede 2 say "Wh...

Re: films we just saw
UBER jealous Mr Renn! Recently watched The Rite, Anthony Hopkins steals the show while the rest fall behind. What movie is your avatar from looks good. It's the "Hell" sequence from a movie called 'Event Horizon', it's a brilliant underrated film in my opinion. I did two weeks work experi...

Re: films we just saw
Thanks, yes I read that article and many others - I was a man obsessed after seing Catfish as it stayed with me for so long. Will be really interesting to see how much of a release it gets here and whether word of mouth will mean alot of people see it. I agree, would avoid reading any articles until...

Re: films we just saw
Catfish Wow, I knew nothing of this until a friend gave me a DVD (turned out to be a screener - don't worry I'll be seeing this again in the cinema and taking friends so will pay my due!) I was pretty blown away by this documentary (or some say mockumentary) I was gripped throughout and boy did it ...

Re: Annoying Movie Goers
I think many people now just think it's ok to behave as though they're in their own living room while in the cinema.
I don't really see a solution to it. Even if they 'banned' mobiles people will still talk.

Re: Annoying Movie Goers
Well it looks like this problem is only getting worse unfortunately. I have been to seven films at this year's London Film Festival and throughout each one of them someone was either texting or talking or both. I asked a girl who was texting to please turn her phone off to which she replied 'Oh yes,...

Brody Fails To Block Release Of Giallo
Seems Mr Brody is claiming he hasn't been paid. For those of us who laughed our way through the film last year, we can perhaps think of many other reasons he tried to block its release!

Oh my goodness this was dull but somehow frustrating as well as tedious. I couldn't even bear to stay for the Q&A.Reanimator wrote: Dark Love (Italian film) - 2 hours of nothing - very dull

Re: films we just saw
I saw Cold Weather at the LFF last night. I can see why you maybe wouldn't like it but I thought it was a pretty original form of film making. Loved the ad libbed dialogue and whole scenes without dialogue and the general naturalistic feel to the whole thing. It also made me laugh quite frequently.
