Re: films we just saw
Just finished watching Misery, I've not seen this film in so long and I'd forgotten how brilliant the move it. Laced with dark humour, genuine tension and a rather grizzly ending I find this movie to be severely underrated.

I get my train tickets the stsrt of August, usually pay around £70 for returns. Not sure what you call them but they're tickets you HAVE to be on, HAVE to be in that certain seat etc.

An old art book called 'Vile Bodies: Photography and the crisis of looking'. I purchased mainly to my interest in post-mortem photography and the works of Joel Peter Witkin but there's so much more too this book. Loving it.

A mixture of Nine Inch Nails, Carcass, Deftones and Arcade Fire. With added random songs from the Portal 2 soundtrack.

Re: The Rough Guide to FrightFest
Are seats numbered? A mate and I are going and therefore will want to sit together. Will we have to book our passes at the same time? or do you just claim any seats you can find? Yes, the seats are allocated and you get that seat for the duration. Didn't you have trouble locating your seat last year?

Looking over the Official Selection page the films that tug at me the most are The Skin I Live In which looks like a modern day 'Eyes Without A Face' and Sleeping Beauty, even though I'm not the hugest fan of Emily Browning.

Insidious, first 40 minutes are pure tension and the rest of the movie is Poltergeist with Darth Maul.

Re: films we just saw
Although I found the remake of I Spit On Your Grave to have a more brutal outlook on the revenge by the victim Jennifer Hills I found the originals rape scene much more vile and nasty.
