1. Sinister - Wasn't expecting much from this but it was genuinely scary in parts. 2. V/H/S - despite the nauseating camerawork that's always associated with found footage films it was amusing and tense in parts. 3. I also thought it lost it a little towards the end. I thought Dren was an interesting creation, as a child, she was just human enough to be sympathetic and just "other" enough to be a little disturbing. It didnt always seem to know where it was going in terms of the narrative and the final 15/20 min...

Great weekend and lineup.

Splice and REC 2 were standouts although I had some issues with the last 15 minutes or so of Splice. Loved Frozen too.

Amer was like an especially long advertisement for something I would never want to buy.
