Wasnt it Nails, not stitches?
Nails was the second horror film he acted in, Stitches was the first and the one he was at Frightfest for. :)

Re: First, Last and Best FrightFest films

First: Don't be Afraid of the Dark (2011)
Last: Tragedy Girls (2017)
Best: So hard to pin down one film, had such good fun with so many. I think the highlight isn't actually film related, but the introduction from Ross Noble the year that Stitches played. Hands down the best intro ever.

Private Ticket Sales

This sub-forum has been set up to allow individuals to advertise their unwanted tickets for sale. To save people clicking multiple links it would really help to format the post title with something descriptive, e.g Weekend Pass - Seat H99 or 2 x Saturday Day Pass - Seats M98 & M99 Please note that a...

Re: NEWBIE help!

It’s very simple: you have a pass for the Horror Channel screen, where you can see the full programme and stay there all day if you wish. However, if there’s something you don’t like the look of, you can duck out and see something in one of the discovery screens at no extra charge. Just book tickets...

Still finding my feet... which FF 2018 screen will be the IMAX - the Arrow Video Screen?
To be confirmed but yes, it looks like that is going to be the case.

Edit: This thread should probably be merged into a general "Discuss the lineup" thread.
Agreed, especially when one had been posted not half an hour before this. Enough with the drama.
Nah, I'll leave this as the moaning thread, the other one can be positive. :D

Re: FrightFest 2018 - Ticket prices

Which screen is for single ticket holders - the Arrow or Horror? Thanks It hasn't been confirmed yet, but as Arrow is the headline sponsor it would logically follow that they have the big screen with the weekenders in it and the smaller screen is Horror Channel with the single tickets, day passes e...

Can I do the same for three tickets?
Yep. That's how groups of friends manage to sit together; one person buys all the tickets and assigns each group member's email to the individual pass.

Re: 2018 Lineup Announced

North American Premieres of Takashi Miike’s LAPLACE’S WITCH So presumably this is the same film? Press release says Giordano Giulivi’s black-and-white marvel THE LAPLACE’S DEMON So it's specifically naming a different director. Curiouser and curiouser. :s EDIT: IMDB - The Laplace's Demon IMDB - Lap...

Re: Accommodation

I can recommend the £5 Hub breakfast to anybody who isn't bothered about a fry - half the price of Pret for unlimited quantities the same sort of stuff. Covent Garden Hub breakfast isn't unlimited, just a choice from a reasonable menu for £5. Still much better value than anything else nearby though.

There have been a couple of brief periods when they weren't working, but at the moment they all are except the link to Laplace's Demon
Yep, that's 404 for me too.

Do we know when the individual film pages will be added to the links from the main schedule page? I made a brew in expectation of an pleasant hour reading through them all/starting a draft Discovery list and it's all just Not Found and 404 errors at the minute <impatient>
All working for me?

Re: Goodbye. Doesn't feel like FrightFest anymore.

(last year had Chucky and Leatherhead!) You need to hand in your horror card until you can get Leatherface's name right. I've only ever been to one FF, but are documentaries about the Sex Pistols and Flash Gordon normal for a FF Schedule? Seems that they could be used for some more hard hitti...

Re: 2018 Lineup Announced

Was there a newsletter to announce the line-up? I don't seem to have received one even though I completed the recent GDPR email. Still, thanks to DJ Benz I can read the lengthy note and start plotting disco films! That’s the press release that went out today. I’d guess the newsletter will be sent o...
