I PM'd you but seems sent in my outbox?
That usually means the recipient hasn't read it yet.

Maybe they'll sit down and have a picnic for most of the running time, being nice and still! ;)
That's how the film got its title, they sit on a picnic blanket with their Boots on the Ground. :D

Does anyone know how shaky the camera work will be for Boots on the Ground
It's filmed exclusively by body/helmet-mounted cameras, so I'd imagine high shaky levels.

Re: Site advertising

There are no hard and fast rules as far as I'm concerned. I generally look at self-promotion posts based on their relevance to FF attendees and whether or not there seems to be any adverse reaction from forum members. It's not like the forum is a hive of activity these days, so being overly heavy-ha...

Re: A question about merchandise and Autographs/signing sessions

This year, as it's back in Leicester Square, I was wondering are there planned signing sessions? Particularly for the US guests who don't make it over here that often. My mate wants to meet Kane Hodder and preferably have a photo/autograph, but he can't make the Conversation on the Sunday, but will...

Re: Final Night Soiree - is there one?

I was actually going to post the name of a good Metal/Alternative bar (given there is a decent sized Horror/Roock/Metal crossover, most the bars I'm thinking of are mainstream friendly, by the way) close to Leicester Square, open Until 3am every night except Sunday night, plus a good Metal club on ...

The films are still being scheduled on their individual days. Their times will be added to the website shortly.

if you walk towards Shake Shack opposite is a shwarma place...they do a very good chicken shwarma.
No idea what a shwarma is, except for seeing it in the after credits scene on Avengers Assemble, but I'm gonna give that a try this year.

Good point on Herman Ze German.

In fact, Old Compton St, which is only a few mins walk away, is a great location for eats. Everything from cream cakes to meat.
That sounds like a Carry On sketch.
They do a really meaty sausage. Matron!

Re: Food

The Tokyo Diner, which is sort of behind the Empire just on the border of Chinatown does great Japanese food. Quick service and reasonably priced.

Also, if you fancy a Burrito, Chipotle is a five-minute walk away on St. Martin's Lane.

Re: Selling on weekend pass?

Apparently we can get a refund but lose the booking fee... can someone from FF (Ian) clarify about selling a ticket on. Thanks Going from previous years, people selling tickets usually struggle to get even their face value so you might be better to cut your losses and get it refunded and write off ...

Re: To Trailer or not?

ALAP (as little as possible) always. That said, I'll watch trailers for big things like Chucky because I doubt it's going to misrepresent the overall film like some trailers can.
