Re: Films for Frightfest August 2015

There's loads of potentially goods movies showing, but is anyone else going to - Graham Humphreys -Drawing Blood? I'm really looking forward to that!

Re: Discovery tickets sold out for pass holders but single tickets still available

If it wasn't for individual tickets, I would have never had discovered Frightfest. I found out about a screening of a new print of An American Werewolf in London, which was showing at the Empire, with John Landis in attendance. When I arrived, I realised that it was part of this wonderful festival. ...

Re: Discovery screen tickets

I too got the tickets that I wanted. I was scared that the wheel of death might return, but all was fine and straightforward. A much better system. Cheers guys!

The Shining

The screening of The Shining tonight was great, but it certainly wasn't the extended US version as advertised - as I know both versions very well. (The longer cut used to be the version that ITV would show, and I've had a region 1 DVD of it for some time) The fantastic Jan Harlan Q&A certainly made ...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

Cheers Ian. Unfortunately, that's what I did originally, and they emailed me back asking me to phone them. I thought if I went in in person it would sort it, but it seems not!! Don't worry, I'll ring them and get it sorted. Thanks again for your help.

A day pass plus booking fee. The website sent out an error message and took the money but didn't the ticket.

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

Managed to pick up my passes this morning, but sadly it was still no go for my refund - seems I have to bite the bullet and spend a few quid on the phone in order to get my 58.75 back. Sorry to be cynical, but they took it so easily and yet it seems to be a real effort for them to give it back. Oh w...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

I emailed Vue, but they emailed back and said they couldn't confirm which screens I'd booked. They said I would have to go in and print off the tickets to find that out. Luckily, I'm in London tomorrow. Hopefully all will go well, and I can start planning!!

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014

I was trying to get Film 4 or Horror Screen, as I wasn't sure if I'd make the late night showing of The Last Showing in the Arrow, so I wanted to avoid that screen. After the initial hours of madness and despair, when the site finally worked, weekend passes were few and far between and those that we...

Interestingly enough the exact same seat I was in last year! This wasn't intentional, but just how it turned out.

Yellow

I thought that the 30 min short film, 'Yellow' was outstanding. I saw it in the Disco screen before 'Nightmare Factory'. It should've been on in the main screen. Possibly shown three times in a row instead of ' Tulpa'. Anyone else have any thoughts on it. I'm looking forward to the director's featur...
